Blaine is a great place to live. Very quiet and peaceful. One minor complaint, the train stopping on the track and no alternative crossing. The increased cost of housing may force me to move
Can you explain the concept/practicality of buying/owning a rental home? I mean if you only visit there a few times a year, leaving it empty most of the time (eg , security concerns), seems strange (and renting it out when you're not there seems such a hassle)... wouldn't it just be cheaper to just get a hotel each time you come to the area?
Depends on whether you could own it long enough to have the value of the appreciation negate the cost of ownership. Having a “free” vacation property is very enticing.
@@livinginbellinghamwashington without getting too specific, it was in the drive through 6th street, and my mom's house being in the neighborhood of the second house, along with a few of my high-school (Blaine High) teachers

Cheaper then point Roberts ?
I would say Point Roberts is cheaper than Blaine for sure, but not by too much. Are you considering a move to one or the other?
@@livinginbellinghamwashington thanks no plans on moving State side , I’m in Surrey I always thought Point Roberts would be more expensive
So weird seeing my literal house in your video
You do not have to say which one it is 😄, but was it in a drive-by clip or was it one that I featured?

@@jacoblehn8752 Interesting...I am glad the video struck a personal note with you! Thanks for sharing.
What most immigrants live there ?
Good question. I would suggest checking sources on the Internet to get demographics. Possibly the census website.
Racist town with heavy southern vibes…they fly confederate flags everywhere
So they have a sundown town there
