It was almost like you were auditioning to be added into the avenger rotation. Just need to let the hair grow out a bit for the pigtails & buy yourself a tu-tu & you're golden. jmho
How do they sing with all the running around ????? FACT : they do studio rehearsal . just the girls. Not only for the choreo. They run on their walking machines , full pelt , then jump off and sing . They repeat this over and over to build up stamina and diaphragm control for breathing and pitch. Sometimes running around and singing , jumping and singing. None of all that stuff they do onstage comes easy, They work damn hard for it. I have read also, interviews with Scandal where they tell of the staff , playing tricks on them, like unplugging their leads, give them bad sound on their monitors (or none at all) and sabotage their equipment, at dress rehearsals at the venues. This is to harden them up for battlefield conditions live and often on camera,. When this stuff goes wrong, don't stop, just smile more and carry on, as front of house desk and stage are prepared for most things, and audience will rarely see or hear anything. Norice Scandal have mics and monitors even while they using ear monitors (just in case), guys side of stage and some times behind their amps , waiting for a lead to tangle , cut out , a guitar string to break, an amp to fail. True team effort for Japanese bands performances These near perfect shows , don;t just happen sometimes, They are consistently great.
It also helps that they've been doing this since they were in they were like 13. Seriously, Idols are a big fucking deal in Japan, and they get started early.
@@Crazael If you consider the arts and dance schools they went to and Sakura Gaikan or whatever it's called they've been doing it since they could walk. I saw a video of Su singing christmas carols in a mall before Babymetal. There's a live performance at her school she attended where she looks like she's 6 or 8. So I feel like Su especially has been singing in malls, school shows and on TV for so many years, which is why she got the lead in Babymetal and other shows, also her height, I'm sure, helped.

Then there is the story about a much earlier performance at Saitama Super Arena in 2009. Back then Su was the youngest member of a pop/idol trio called Keren Girls'. Having never played such a large venue before, the two older girls were naturally a bit nervous about it. Su on the other hand was so confident that she decided to take a nap before the show, and slept so soundly that someone had to go wake her up, The first time I read this story it actually gave me a chill because there is an eerily similar story told about Alexander before the Battle of Gaugamela. It was then that I realized what is so special about Su-Metal. She possesses that intangible something that is the spark of greatness.
BabyMetal live are on an entirely different level. Saw them last year in Atlanta at the Roxy and even on a small stage like that, the energy they put out into the crowd is insane.
Man i never thought id be into babymetal, turns out they have some killer style, pure dedication in their performabces and they are so on point. Hell yeah ima sing about chocolate!!! You wanna mosh!!??!!? They really nailed the killer metal band checklist. Catchy tunes, gnarly pace, epic non-stop show performances, sounds like some really accurate and coordianted vocals. Hell yeah im gonna paint my nails, Maybe turn my cargo shorts into a short dude skirt, this band has that energy. Not as lame as the band name sounded.....then i investigated their actual music. Good on em, i am 100% all about metal bands with women, killer stage shows, 110% commit to nailing the notes and timing.. PLUS GYMNASTICS!!!! dude.....killer metal, everyones playing their souls out and no real half assed gimmickery! When they cut loose, they bring that metal show commitment passion. ......so.....lets grab some teddybears, maybe some short dude skirts and show we all can appreciate the immense effoet and physical badassery these performers have.
I've been a BM fan for years but just recently discovered Band Maid, they are amazing in their own right, completely different styles and music, tho, so just because they're girls from the same country and very roughly within the same genre there's not need for comparisons, really, we can enjoy both :D I'll surely get to listen to and enjoy them more in the future, not atm, tho, cause I'm in the middle of a BM reactions rampage lol
I beg to differ, BabyMetal does not blow BANDMAID away by any stretch of the imagination! The members of BANDMAID are tremendous Musicians in their own right and have written and performed AWESOME SONGS that BLOW BabyMetal OUT OF THE WATER! BabyMetal is nothing more that a group of Metal musicians with three cute singers that have memorized choreographed dances to each song! Sorry, but you are way out in “Left Field” on this one!

I gotta admit, i do watch a lot of babymetal reaction all across youtube, and you're one of the best (if not THE best one) i've seen yet. Even if you're almost dying of excitement, you're still paying attention to the video, and that's what i appreciate more in reactions, since Babymetal always have something special in every song they perform live, i do feel a little frustated when people just miss out something because they're not even looking at their screen. You have my respect man, keep up the good work! Also, there will be a Babymetal "Stay home, Stay metal" live in youtube tomorrow, with a full concert (there was one today, but it's already over), and i do recommend watching, it is completely worth the time.
And yes, every Babymetal crowd is like that! It's great when a band has choreography, because that also sort of gives the crowd some choreography to follow. You don't only get to listen to them live, it's a show to watch them live, and it's truly an experience to be in that crowd live. By the way you NEED to see Akatsuki. It's another SuMetal solo but it's amazing. There's so much power and emotion in that song I can't get enough of it. And then after that, if you need more emotion, check out the Akatsuki unfinished version. 10/10 you will probably cry.
Yessss! So glad you reacted to the live version! Now please react to Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014. I believe it was their first time abroad and a last minute change, they went from a side stage and playing in front of 3000- 5000 people, they got boosted to the main stage and played for 50 - 60,000. By far my favorite song and performance from them. Nerves of steel! 👍
It wasn't a last minute change. The festival promoter upgraded them from playing the side stage to opening the main stage, after there was great interest in them online when they were announced to be at Sonisphere, weeks before the festival.
You missed them. They toured through Atlanta during the US leg of the Metal Galaxy tour! Also, you missed the easter egg in the crowd: Pikachu is in the crowd!

I was thrilled when they brought 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!!' back during the 2019 tour. Was finally able to see it live at the LA Forum concert in October.
The version of Karate at 2016 UK download is where they earned mad respect. Played a set in the rain with equipment covered in plastic. (This is where Mop-chan made his first appearance.)
Long story short, I came on youtube about 2 hours ago looking for something to lighten my mood, some how I got in a deep youtube rabbit hole and ended up here and I've never heard this music before, never seen this channel before and I can already tell I'm addicted to both, you sir have just found a new sub and thank you for introducing me to music I didn't know I needed.
I'll tell you, it's nice to see how much enjoyment you get out of these performances. I like this version too, I think it has some of the best Su-Metal Death Stares.
Incorporating electronic music into some of their songs is what really made me fall in love with this band. Until I (recently) discovered Babymetal I've always been into synth music so this mixture of metal and kawii plus electronica seals the deal for me. Now I just gotta wait til next year so I can (hopefully) see them in Japan. 🦊🤘

I saw them at the Sonsiphere first time in the U.K on centre stage with Iron Maiden & Metallica in 2013 that show made them they were 14:15:16 years old then and we wondered what hit us.
Oldest one is 20 and they're already legends! So popular that if the band breaks up, they have unlimited opportunities like solos ,or acting , modeling , or marry Dimash Kudaiburgen!
Good one, you could do the same with other Babymetal songs - watch and enjoy the official video then see them in their natural habitat - a live concert - and what they do with it there. At 8pm (Japanese time) today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) the official Babymetal UA-cam channel is streaming their two nights at Tokyo Dome in 2016 ... every song from their first two albums in front of a crowd of 55,000 people each night. Just one song missing that was not on the Japanese edition.
BTW, make sure to check out the two nights of Babymetal's Tokyo Dome show. The first night is up now and the second will air live Sat. Morning at 7am EDT. They'll be available for an undetermined amount of time on youtube, so don't sleep on it. It's peak high production Babymetal. Not to be missed.

I know you're not going to be able to do reactions to them, but they just released Stay at Home versions of the 2016 Red Night and Black Night concerts at the sold out Tokyo Dome in full. They did not repeat one song in the 3 hours. Truly unbelievable concerts.

Yessss! So glad you reacted to the live version! Now please react to Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014. I believe it was their first time abroad and a last minute change, they went from a side stage and playing in front of 3000- 5000 people, they got boosted to the main stage and played for 50 - 60,000. By far my favorite song and performance from them. Nerves of steel! 👍
It wasn't a last minute change. The festival promoter upgraded them from playing the side stage to opening the main stage, after there was great interest in them online when they were announced to be at Sonisphere, weeks before the festival.

@@MrRockNRollLive Yeah.. Pikachu guy is always there and now is a cult figure himself. At the arena show at the Forum in LA, he came dressed up as Optimus Prime. You didn't see him because you were rocking out to it (justifiably so) but he's like that guy you talked about in Road of Resistance, that you could always hear too loudly in the crowd!

Incorporating electronic music into some of their songs is what really made me fall in love with this band. Until I (recently) discovered Babymetal I've always been into synth music so this mixture of metal and kawii plus electronica seals the deal for me. Good one, you could do the same with other Babymetal songs - watch and enjoy the official video then see them in their natural habitat - a live concert - and what they do with it there.
At 8pm (Japanese time) today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) the official Babymetal UA-cam channel is streaming their two nights at Tokyo Dome in 2016 ... every song from their first two albums in front of a crowd of 55,000 people each night. Just one song missing that was not on the Japanese edition.

OMG, i almost never make a comment on any videos i ever saw, but I can't stop my fingers to write it now, i watched your BM reaction and this is just so hilarious, i can watch your reaction everyday and can never be bored of it, exactly my reaction was ALWAYS THE SAME with you everytime i watch this video! The crowd just amazing and it's like we the video watchers sucked up inside those live video. I know you're not going to be able to do reactions to them, but they just released Stay at Home versions of the 2016 Red Night and Black Night concerts at the sold out Tokyo Dome in full. They did not repeat one song in the 3 hours. Truly unbelievable concerts.
