If you're using Cloudways, you can connect Elastic Email to your Cloudways server for like $0.08/mo and don't have to rely on a WP SMTP plugin. Just change the From email address in the WP application settings. If you're using standard hosting / not using Cloudways, any SMTP plugin will do. Just check on wordpress.org.

I've tried to contact Hostinger to see if I can add an IP to the $2.89 plan but they haven't replied and looked at their plans the only one that shows an included dedicated IP is their $9.99 plan, any suggestions?

That is sorta true. It doesn't happen often, but can potentially happen. The way around it is to get a static ip address from the host so the only emails going from the ip are yours.
Wouldn't there be an issue with IP addresses potentially being blocked due to other accounts on the same IP sending spam? I had a client's account hosting their email on shared hosting and their emails were flagged by several corporate firewalls / spam filters (their clients were law firms and banks). They ended up switching to Microsoft 365 and their emails could be delivered to their clients again.
yeah this is very important issue for me. I think adam is so sure to put all his email in 1 IP address because he know for sure how not to get caught by spam filters. just realize, if I host on a shared hosting, I got the same situation.

Yea I goofed, but caught it in editing, so all I could do at that point was have a note.

From time to time you may get a bounce. You can get a static ip address for the account and all outbound email on the up will be your ip.

Yep, you would need an SMTP plugin and I have a video on it.
