I have a 5 yen coin on my TN, too. It is from the year that my husband and I met in Japan, Heisei 5 (1993) We were English teachers in Mito. That's 31 years ago! Thank you for sharing , especially your Reflections journal.

Thanks for sharing about the beautiful story of your 5 yen coin!! And it's so interesting that you've met each other in Japan. Reflection journal is something I started this year, and I'm hoping using the nice notebook will motivate me and keep me on track.

I stumbled upon your channel today when I was doing my Watch later list. I am so glad I stopped and clicked on your video. Thank you for sharing your insight to the japanese currency. I think that's cool that you found 1 with your birth year. When I traveled year as a child and then a teenager anytime we got change back we would look through the coins to see if we could find our birth year and keep those for a keep sake. More videos from your channel. I just subscribe..

Thanks for the lovely comment! Your message reminded me that I also used to keep the leftover small coins, all the different currency mixed up in one jar. It's a bit sad that we are using less and less of physical money in that sense.

I have loved this notebook for some time but it is quite expensive to get in/to UK. I appreciate that I can enjoy the notebook through your use of it. Loved your setup and glad to hear you are going with what works for you. I was very excited to see another video from you. It was cute to hear children having fun in the background, life is real, pretending otherwise will only make it harder to find time for joy. Thank you for another great video. 🙏🏽🙌🏾💖🫶🏽

Yes, TN is a bit pricey notebook option but my previous one is still nice after 10 years. Considering it's durability, I decided to get my second one which I'm committed to use for the next decade!
Thank you for your generous comments on the background noise. It can be a bit disturbing to watch my video, but if I wait for a quiet day at home, I can never film anything, so I decided to document my real life ;)

@@minimalish.journal yes I have to admit I have a few TC TNs for different purposes. I’m sure I will get the Kyoto edition as soon as I find a good deal. In the mean time I can enjoy it through you. For me real life is always better. I try to live by, if I can do it now, I should do it now. I live by myself but sometimes too tired to do anything due to fatigue and disability so if I feel like, I can do this now or even try now I seize the moment because later might not come. Thank you for keeping it real and relatable. ☺️🙏🏽

Ah, so you also have TN! Would love to hear how you use them for different purpose. Now that I have 2nd one, I'm also trying to figure out how to use old one (brown cover) and this Kyoto one at the same time, because I want to use all of them ;)
