Yeah bro. Exactly. Pre 90s Metallica was incredible and felt like art more than just money grabbing. They really did sell out. I love Metallica, but I hate the direction. Cheers for stopping by.
I think Metallica did themselves worse by trying to go back to their roots. Part of why newer Metallica doesn't feel special is because James literally had a vocal chord injury around the load era.

A top 5 metal ballad ever honestly
Top 1 💪
@@NewtsGD Yeah, you're right actually 🙏 (A tout le monde by Megadeth, and The Ballad by Testament are pretty good too)
I disagree with his list with all my life
HAHA yeah bro, it is the way it is, I appreciate you've taken time to look at it though 🤣
If you don't like My friend of misery, you don't understand it.
Or you don't like the instrumental
Or that.
@@PIZZAdayisbackbut it's soooo goooood
Yea you lost me at 2 x 4 at 123
I lost myself listening to St. Anger, so we're all lost bro.
top 28 onwards is so based
i love ride the lightning album it is unironically just my favorite album ever tbh
trapped under the ice, escape are insanely underrated
I LOVE ESCAPE, atm I'd probably move it up more, it's soooo gooooodddd.
Also ride the lightning is 100% their best album
@@NewtsGD TRUE!!! i keep listening to it at work CONSTANTLY its so amazing!!! ride the lightning is my favorite due to it just getting me into Metallica and honestly metal as a whole. the solo is so good and the lyrics are fantastic imo. its so gooddddd. every song on that album is just peak... its amazing. and fade to black just being one of the best fucking switch ups ive heard in a metal song ever. its all so amazing. i cant praise those songs enough
I was with my girlfriend today, and on the ride home I kept going "life's all my own to live my own wayyyyyyyy" XD
Man it's so catchy, I can't believe Hetfield doesn't like it. I understand I guess but he may have accidentally succeeded hahahah
i disagree with most of these, but that’s fine. watch some kind of monster, that definitely made me like st. anger.
Yeah I already know about the creative decisions behind St Anger, I personally think it's just a little bit stupid, because it's like shooting yourself in the foot because you want people to know you're an emo or something, it just seems so contradictory to try make something with so many blatant flaws.
Still some pretty alright songs on there though
@@NewtsGD yea tbh i don’t care about bad mixing, i love good mixing however, and it’s just about riffs and hooks for me lol
That's totally fair bro
@@NewtsGD at points it was really hard to not get pissed off but it’s your opinion lol
HAHA I seen somebody out TTTSNB and Fade to Black low and it was like.... Okay bro...
Where is So What?
eye of the beholder at 5 is kinda mehh... definetely not top 5 in my opinion. its a very good song tho.
Definitely top 5
Your Opinion on all the 72 Seasons Songs Explained to me the Type of Music Listener you are lol, You're either Tone Deaf or a Teenager, Or Both ahahaha
72 seasons was really boring, I don't appreciate the insulting bro.
I Disappear was released 2000. Not 2008.
The single was officially released 2008, but the song itself was released in 2000
@@NewtsGD June 2. 2000. 😉
For the movie, correct
Try listening to blitzcreed
Almost this entire list made me mad 😂 completley disagree with almost everything lol, some interesting opinions ❤ pretty much all of my favourites werent even top 20 lol
What's your top 20?
Whiskey in the jar where?
That's a cover song, doesn't belong to Metallica
@ in my heart, it’s their very own version of the song that they absolutely killed with
I can respect that
Why you stuck on lyrics?
A lot of things within music can change stuff for me, just because art is super important to me and I like to absorb all the creative choices that people make. There's a lot to be gotten out of stuff like that, so hearing lyrics that really suck can actually throw a song off so much hahaha
most people listen to st anger and hate it because they think it would be like all they’re other music, once you realize that album sounds like that on purpose, then you’ll start to like it. but still, your rankings are terrible, bleeding me at 99?? you just shit on all of 72 seasons as well, horrible
Sounds like a you issue bro
Sorry, But I am a "Hater". I used to love Metallica up until the 90's....they sold out to be more simple for showmanship... Lars admitted this in the 90"s, what a bunch of sell out's ....sorry "Sad but true"........
Yeah bro. Exactly. Pre 90s Metallica was incredible and felt like art more than just money grabbing. They really did sell out.
I love Metallica, but I hate the direction. Cheers for stopping by.
I think Metallica did themselves worse by trying to go back to their roots.
Part of why newer Metallica doesn't feel special is because James literally had a vocal chord injury around the load era.
i non ironically love lulu lmao
i mean, obviously not even close at the level of ride the lightning and master of puppets, but still a lot better than st. anger and load for me
Lulu has personality I give you that. I absolutely cannot STAND the vocals, but I definitely can understand why someone would like it
entersandman is so bad..
I think it's pretty alright.
You're still sour that they tried to not make the same album 5 times?
