Awesome review! Tranformers is a rabbithole I am only beginning to explore. Thanks for showing all the possible companion figures! I wish more reviews did that.
While Ultra Magnus is "too big" in robot mode, considering what he turns into? Yeah, I agree that he should be big. He's one of those cases where the alt mode scale needs to be prioritized.
It's not just SS86 that's gotten morbid as the MPM series did something like that too with MPM Jazz having a small button on the back that you can press so you can have two pieces of him and heck they even included a spinal cord piece you can attach to him when split in two
To make alt mode roll correctly you can remove the cab and then just rest the trailer connection in the port (don't actually click it into place) it will stay connected just fine for rolling on a flat surface, and will make the wheels contact the ground much better.
Dunno about you, but I've never heard about any breakage issues with ol' MP22 Ultra Magnus. That may have come out when there was some degree of "solid as a brick" to MPs, aka the MP10 era (the MP11 Seeker mold doesn't count due to just being dumb design decisions). And unless you never bothered with either of these, you also skipped both Keith's Fantasy Club "Citizen Stack" and the more recent X-Transbots "Commander Stack", both of which also integrated the cab into the transformation. I would say that I'm good with that Kingdom figure, but that's what I said about the Siege one (and I wound up gettin' the Kingdom one anyway).
The last MP I bought was Star Saber and after that was when a lot of the mass breakage issues started, so I've avoided them since. I mostly left out the 3P figures to streamline the recap segment which was long enough as is. Both of those definitely look nice.
@@Soundout12 Oh yeah, MP24 Starsaber was a solid one. Though that KFC Joint Upgrade kit is supposed to make him even MORE solid (and give enough strength to the joints for holding the weapons when combined with their "Simba", aka Victory Leo). If I had to guess, I'd guess that the breakage issues may have started around MP36 Megatron, who had all kinds of breakage issues AND paint chipping issues...I've heard of stuff snapping off of MP39 Sunstreaker/39+ Spinout/42 Cordon (usually the doors or the sideview mirrors)...MP41 Dinobot had issues with the ankles...MP43 BW Megatron has a fragile crotch...MP44 Optimus Prime 3.0 has paint chipping & bad knees (both of which MP49 Nemesis Prime corrected)...MP45 Bumblebee 2.0 is apparently almost as fragile as he is ugly...only thing about MP46 Blackarachnia I've heard is that her spider legs pop off the ball joints way too easily...MP47 Hound's just break bait waiting to happen around his feet...I've heard nothing about MP48 Lio Convoy/48+ Dark Amber Leoprime...nothing about MP50 Tigatron...nothing about MP51 Arcee/55 Nightbird (aside from how horriby designed Arcee's chest is)...nothing about the MP52 Seeker mold (though my experience with a KO makes me wonder if folks just ain't speakin' up)...nothing about the MP53 Skids mold...absolutely nothing on MP56 Hoist (though they improved things with the KO, the only real issue I have is the irritating transformation)...just minor QC issues with MP57 Skyfire...and 56+ Riggoras/58 Hoist & MP59 Rhinox ain't out yet.

I felt he was a little overpriced
