this guy is the best teacher on the internet and UA-cam hands down!! I wish they handed out awards because he'd Take it. Easy guitar graphs to see it and understand chords. Singing pretty darn good too!
You have no idea of how good it feels for begginers like me to find tutorials like yours which help us not to give up and continue learning. Thank you for your excelnt job!!!
Making a tutorial is probably the most beautiful way to honor such a great and unique artist. May his music spread over thousands of guitars and mouthes and give him a living memory! Let's play it loud and sing, dann sind wir Helden, für einen Tag!
Beautiful tribute, thank you for sharing. I remember swiping this album from my older brother way back in the day and taking it to back to college with me. This brings back so many good memories.
I was lucky enough to see Ziggy in London, unforgettable...You are a Star man, really great learning songs well filmed and well laid out, with slowed down sequence as well-thank you thank you thank you. You gotta be the best on youtube. Ta ever so
I'm really digging what you're doing brother. From what I've seen so far you're across the spectrum of musical genres for sure, and shows plenty good taste. I'm working through Dead Flowers now, the way Townes heard and felt it. Not sure if you're a fan but if you are, your voice is solid and it'd be cool to see what you can do with it. Cheers from Vietnam!
That was helpful even though I learned the chords on another UA-cam video. Having the chords scroll by were good for me. Do you have a video for the other guitar part that isn’t exactly a lead part but it isn’t rhythm part either? I need to see the notes written. It takes me forever to follow what is being played. Be safe, 👍☮️🌞🦠😷🎸
nice cover and tribute to David Bowie, I like some of his.music but learnt to play the intro guitar riff which which repeats through the whole song of Bowie's Hit "Rebel Rebel". Considering the strange lyrics of that song, it was a kick ass Riff. Aaron From Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. p.s. I'm gonna buy his last album released this month as a mark of respect.
I like this. This couple are underdogs..presents.. Refugees.. Survivers they don't have much but they have love. Hero's power to the masses.. Revolution. I love revolution
+Jack Garvin Hi Jack Its called a palm mute; you have to place your hand across all the strings on a down strum a fraction of a second before the pick hits. Its all about timing and finding the best position for your hand to make contact. It took me a few days of practice (on and off in bursts of about 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day) but It was worth it. I hope this helps. Best of luck. Alan :)

If you put a capo/hold the string on the first fret and then tune it standard, each string would sound one fret lower once you took off the capo/let go of the string. That would be detuning it by one fret, it's just means the guitar is tuned 1 step down from standard.

+éric Arrigossi Cheers Eric, much appreciated :)
someone please tell me what detune by one fret means?
You can see in the description of this video the tutorial for that. Otherwise, you can try to sing normally without detuning.
If you put a capo/hold the string on the first fret and then tune it standard, each string would sound one fret lower once you took off the capo/let go of the string. That would be detuning it by one fret, it's just means the guitar is tuned 1 step down from standard.
Did I find my hero ?
Detune by 1 fret. What does that mean?? Anybody?
I think he means he's in Eb standard
@@MegaSamoma detune all EADGBE?
