Tell u this.there are a few of these in the market but DD has a plug and play harness and thr best warranty. Im not a fan of routing that wire through the hole in the trunk. The need to come out with a bracket that u can mount to a reciever or the third brake light . I made one out of band iron and i dont have to remove it if i have to take down the spare
Got them installed. But like always these vids leave several things out. First unscrew heat shield above exhaust. 2nd need to trim/ cut tailgate fins for connectors to fit through. My plug was installed backwards on the wire harness that comes through the hole above the exhaust. All in all pretty happy with this set up. Hooked up to switch #2 aswell.
thanks for this, im going to be wiring up mine this afternoon. I'm not sure I want them to act as an additional brake light though, for off-roading i intend to put yellow lenses on, and i feel like the red shining through yellow for braking isn't gonna make much sense

Does the C1R throw a lot of light? I like them but I want to know if I'm in the woods in the middle of the night I'll be able to see backing up
Yes absolutely! You will have NO problem lighting up the woods haha
How do you make it a chase light?
Get the answer covers for your lights and put them on a switch.
Why would you run that harness under the car, etc? Just plug it in and follow the factory harness into the tailgate...
