We have camped out at site 1 a few times but for some reason never went to site 2. Good to see the shire has redone the facilities at site 1. Last time we were out there everything had been removed and it was all overgrown and uncared for. You are dead right about the mozzies! We have been there when it was impossible to go outside at dawn or dusk. Literally millions of the things. Nice spot otherwise though but it does dry up most summers.
