I stumbled across a lady at a yard sale selling her sons basketball cards bought this entire set neatly organized in a binder in alphabetical order by team all in very nice condition never been a huge collector what do I do?
Since seeing you do this box break, I'm now on search of some boxes. The boxes look damaged, s ok I hope it the seller accepts my on offer. The boxes look damaged, but since they are packaged, I'm willing to take a be chance. What do you think?
Hey Justin my guy, I just wanted to say thanks for posting these vids I am learning a lot by just watching you open these and talk. It is fun to join in and I have even bought 2 new boxes and opened them with my friend for some fun. I may submit some cards to psa for even more fun. Thanks again for posting these videos these are a lot of fun :). keep it up!
Hey just looking for some advice here and get your opinion on what you would do. I recently bought 2 skybox series 2 1991-92 boxes. Green and black. Should I bust them open and try to pull the MJ, Gary Payton, etc? Or just keep them sealed? Also acquired a 1995 kabuto 50/62 Pokémon card and I see prices all over the place. It's in pretty good condition, prolly not mint but hoping you can give me an idea of what it's worth?
I'm still learning and doing a lot of research on which cards I should try to get my hands on. I'm jus kinda struggling right now trying to figure out the value of the cards I have. You have any leads on websites or ppl that know these things and I could ask? Your videos are also a huge help and are always very informative for me. No one around me is into trading cards so I struggle finding ppl to chat with about it..I wanna start getting cards graded and selling them but idk where to start.
These cards! These cards are like New Kids on the Block. They're like Saved by the Bell level early 90s designs. It's funny how some designs just provoke certain memories. These cards are like a cardboard basketball tribute to the late 80s/early 90s. Just so wild.
Talking as I watch lol. Speaking to the peach basket, my first outdoor basketball "hoop" was a 5 or 10 gallon bucket that had probably held lane cleaner or something my dad got from work (he was a bowling machine mechanic). He cut the bottom off and nailed it to the side of a small building on our property. Didn't last long because plastic breaks easily lol. Eventually he got me an actual hoop and hung it from a tree. We really didn't have great spaces for a hoop. By then, I wasn't much into playing basketball anymore.
This is series one and there is a series two for this year and set. It has some nice Jordan's in it. Also Yes, Gary Payton is in the Hall of Fame! He got in just a few years after Michael Jordan did. He actually got in before Shaq did. Gary Payton, Joe Dumars, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish, Moses Malone, Mitch Richmond, Chris Mullin, James Worthy, Vlade Divac, Bernard King and Ralph Sampson are all great players that you left out and are all in the HALL OF FAME! Also you may have skipped over a Patrick Ewing base card towards the end. He is one of the all time greats and also in the Hall of Fame. Just letting you know and trying to help. Thank you for the box breaks! Keep up the vids! Take care!
This craziness with the current price of some of these junk wax Era boxes is ridiculous. To pay over a $100 for a box that's really only worth $25 just on the chance of pulling a possible gem mint 10 jordan is crazy. If you pull 3 Jordan's out of that box guaranteed 3 out of 3 are not gem mint 99 out of 100 boxes. No thnx keep the junk

Those designs are so dope. Just purchased a box myself. Can't wait.
It's fun. Grade the jordan magic and bird if they look like 10s to get the most out of it.
is 50$ a good price for the box?

I would try to find one that isn't beat up.
What do I do if I have the complete set😬 what is it worth
Not much.

It depends on your goal. I would say that's a common card.

Yes very indicative of the era.
I will never *not* laugh at Pooh Richardson's or Fat Lever's nicknames.
Quick question.. I have this same box, would you recommend opening it or just keeping it in the box?
Thats up to you.
Does it hurt the value if it’s opened? I hear mixed reviews on that
@@davearts3049 yes u lose all resale value.
@@Trading_cards_and_more I appreciate the feedback. Love what you’re doing, keep up the great videos!!

Yes I've opened series 2 and have more coming. Ralph and Bernard are the only two I didn't know about thanks.
@@Trading_cards_and_more Your welcome!
Reason why Michael Jordan was like that. It was when they printed it. One of them machines
Are these worth the purchase or nah
Those Skybox pulls were great, love the look of those cards! So unfortunate about the Hoops base Jordans though, what was going on there
Not sure filmed this a while ago
@@Trading_cards_and_more Yeah definitely was a while ago, there was a crease in the same spot of each of the base cards. So weird
@@robertkruit5914 ah ys bad quality control.
Loved the Sam Bowie who was taken before Jordan in the draft.
Haha epic fail 😂🤦♂️
I never liked your way of opening those packs.
Novody is forcing you to watch 😏

Well I got almost all 10 or so Jordan's out of here in psa 10 only opening a dozen or so boxes.
Even if you get a few 9’s you will pay for the box and then some. Maybe you should get a job instead of worrying about old cards.
