Daniel, the stitching they used on mine was an exact match in color. You may want to give them a ring to see if they’ve changed their thread recently as this video is a few years old now.

Dirtlamp, I ended up selling the G8 about two years ago to a guy in Minnesota. I actually regret doing so since it was such a great car. I owned it for 3.5 years and it never gave me a lick of trouble. I'm sure I'll end up purchasing a G8 GXP or Chevy SS down the road, but for now I have the Charger Scat Pack as my "toy" vehicle.
