In regards to exporting player animations (10:33), a better way I found was to follow the same steps you showed (including selecting the motion editor), but instead of deleting the samples, you're gonna want to zero them out. You can do this by dragging the bar that says "zero" to the right of the hierarchy all the way to the right. This is nice cause the player positions/animations will automatically be placed into the map correctly (assuming you've moved your map to fit the camera). Saves a bit of time vs manually moving each player into the correct spot.
This content feels very underrated! Very high quality, and well made tutorial, thanks! I hope that these tools will improve as time goes on, and will make fragmovie creation less of a technical challange, more a creative challange.
keep getting an error when trying to import camera animations after having map loaded. Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.6\scripts\addons\io_scene_valvesource\datamodel.py", line 324, in __getitem__ return super().__getitem__(item) KeyError: 'skeleton' any knowledge on this boss?
I watched all your recent videos regarding cs2 montage and fragmovie, all were very informative but can you please make a separate video specifically for hlae in cs2 and recording first person pov as well as third person cinematic campaths shots including all the essential commands and tips and tricks to record it in one informative video. That would mean everything to me as well as a lot of viewers who just want to record and edit cs2 videos without getting into the complications of s2fm or blender. Thanks for your content.
I really like your video. I have a problem. When I imported the arm model, it was separated from the weapon model. I want to know how to merge their bones to play the correct weapon animations. I want to do the first person in cs2 like that😵💫
Just asking if you can create your agent move on it's own movement like dancing I want to move mine but It's hard to move there's some parts that moving even though I don't want to
Wow, what hardware do you use? Or what tip do you have for improving viewport performance? I have a Ryzen 5 5600G, 16GB DDR4 (dual channel) and an RTX 2060 SUPER. all assets are on a m.2 drive, and I'm getting really slow viewport reactions. What component is the most limiting here?

Tysm for saying that cause I wanted to do an animation with an ace and it would've took forever to place each player in the correct space
Nice to see some cs2 content.

anyone know why 'source engine utils' not appearing when trying to import camera path in blender, using the source engine assets?
looks like they removed it from the most recent version, launching with ver 3.2 of sourcio
