He was one of those actors that grew up along side you; you saw him in a ton of things & for a long time. The world is a lesser place with out him in it.
@n325aej Seventeen days? Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here...
Why didn't you mention TITANIC? You forgot when you were making the video? How could you? His most famous role was not Twister or Apollo 13, it was definitely TITANIC with James Cameron once again.
Remember one week, listening to Marc Maron's WTF podcast and Bill was on. This was the first time I ever heard him in person and as he went over the roles he played I kept thinking what a huge number of movies that I liked he had been in. Also, what a genuinely nice, down to earth guy he seemed to be....and looking forward to seeing his next project. He may have even talked about his upcoming surgery. Within a week...he was gone. It was like finally getting to know someone you had seen your whole life and then ...just like that - game over man.
You should do a what happened to Robin willians Minnie riperton Marvin gaye Whitney Houston Chester bennington Chris Farley Jonh belushi Chris cornell Eddie van halen Paul Walker Liberace Brittany Murphy Heath ledger
Aliens, Titanic, The Edge of Tomorrow, Mighty Joe Young, Stripes, The Terminator, Weird Science, Commando, NAVY SEALs, Apollo 13, Tomb Stone, True Lies, Twister, U-571, Miami Vice, and Call of Duty. I miss him very much 🥀😔
I LOVED Him in Everything 😍❤️🥺😂😂😍🥺😍🥺😍😍😂😍😍❤️😍😍❤️😍😂 I saw him in! Even my "I don't like ANYBODY" Grandmother loves, loved him , if we saw that he was in something, or on a show, guess what? Shouts thru the house "Bill Paxton's on, come'ere"! He is sorely missed . I don't know anyone who doesn't like/love Bill Paxton. !
It seemed every role he played in, he became the focus of my attention. Just a very likable character. He seemed in his prime. Sorry to hear of his passing.
The music is beautiful in this piece fitting to a great actor and man who looked like a really down to earth guy. RIP Bill I hope your family and friends are happy knowing how much joy you brought to the big screen to fans like me. Does anyone know the piano music it’s very touching. Thanks
He talked a lot about his costar Charlie Sheen and the Paris bar scene last time I worked with him in Phoenix around late 1990. Navy Seals I believe is why he was over there.
The first time I saw him was the movie of Tresspass, I am emotionally touched to acknowledge his absence. A good handsome character and personality. He will live in my memory as if never left the room. See you again.
As much as I love Alpha 11, I honestly didn't know this was a video of Bill Paxton's death--I thought he just left acting, like Gene Hackman. Gosh he passed so young... anyway, great tribute here guys, thank you :(
Two movies that many fans never saw him in are: "One False Move" (Gene Siskel named it Best of 1992!) and "Ghosts of the Abyss" (a documentary where you see the real Bill Paxton diving to the Titanic). Will make you appreciate the man even more.
Such a shame for his family to lose him so suddenly,. Thanks bill for the movies..i think your best was 'big love' such a well written and put together show..rip
I was on a train heading to Boston for work and started thinking about Bill Paxton, I really miss seeing him in movies. My thoughts are with him and his family. In heaven I would like to meet him.
Bill was an incredible actor and good and funny man, I was devastated and shocked when I learned of his sudden passing , one of the hand full of a actors that could entertain any body , he lived his life to the fullest and will never be forgotten, but something I wonder other great stars such as Robin Williams Carrol Burnett , John Ritter , Miranda lambert and Mike Tyson we're other great stars to appear on law & order svu , why wasn't Bill ever on the show , and did he ever know Mariska Hargitay or Chris Meloni?
A great actor yes if you get a chance pick up his movie at Amazon etcetera a simple plan really really good movie good acting one of my favorites I watch it at least once a year
I remember how a long time ago (Summer 2001) I had an idea for Alien VS Predator. The story was going to take place in the "Present" on the biggest Hawaiian island where the Aliens & Predators would've fought. It was going to star Victoria Rowell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, with Lance Henriksen, & Bill Paxton. All the fans including Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, Bill Duke, Alicia Marie, Matt Winston and Jeanette Goldstein ALL liked the idea very much and said it was 1 0f the BEST AVP stories they read. I feel bad that Bill Paxton never got to read it, even though I had 1 opportunity to give it to him...and I blew it. Hopefully his family gets to read it.
One of my two favorite actors, the other is Clint Eastwood and i hate Hollywood today because it's part of the democrat chinavirus.....TDS HAS TAKEN A LOT OF ACTORS, BIG MIDLER ROTTEN DENIRO AND ALL OF THE CAST AT CNN AND MSNBC. YES ACTORS WHO THOUGHT THEY WERE GODS AND FOUND OUT THEY WERE ONLY DOGS...HAHAHA!
Guys……heart surgery is not small surgery! Im an open heart surgery nurse for several years…..he had a bicuspid aortic valve! And an aortic aneurysm…..he would have died if he didn’t have surgery and complications still arise during and after surgery.
He had the same heart prob as me but what killed him was a sudden stroke caused by the heart surgery..his wife was sueing the surgeon for malpractice..I met this beautiful man two week before his passed..
He was one of those actors that grew up along side you; you saw him in a ton of things & for a long time. The world is a lesser place with out him in it.
One of the rare, genuinely nice guys in Hollywood.
