Rare '74 Jensen Interceptor III | Showroom '59 Chrysler Imperial | Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival

We’re soaking up some good times in the Sunshine State at the Lake Mirror Classic. From classic boats to micro cars and everything in between, this show has some amazing machines. One of the most interesting rides we found was a 1974 Jensen Interceptor III. This rare hand-built British touring coupe came with an upgraded Chrysler 440, and is a blast to drive.
But first up is a super cool truck that most have never even heard of! The 1939 Bantam Pickup was seen roaming among the micro cars at Lake Mirror. Pushing a whopping 20HP, this baby can haul a payload of 250lbs. in its stubby little bed.
Then, we head over to get a closer look at a garish land yacht that could have only been designed by Virgil Exner. This showroom-quality 1959 Chrysler Imperial featured wild body lines highlighted with tons of chrome and an interior like no other. With push button transmission and swivel seats, this garish land yacht is an incredible combination of style, comfort, and power.
Next up, is an amazing classic watercraft that Dennis could not pass up. The 1955 Chris-Craft Cobra is a Holy Grail of vintage boats. This rare antique vessel is adorned in Mahogany and fiberglass, and pushes 200HP with its 332cu.in. marine Hemi engine. Just wait until you hear it fire up!
We also got a close look at one of the nicest Merc Coupe Customs we’ve ever seen. This 1940 Mercury is a early 1950’s style customization. With its subtle modifications and serious chop, this is one smooth Merc. Throw in the 500 cu.in. Cadillac V8 and you’ve got one sleek and beautiful hot rod.
