When you make it for yourself. You cannot expect anyone to “find you” or come to you. You must go to them, you must put yourself out there non stop every day and work with as many artists as possible to build a portfolio and network your material word of mouth. The only way to stay ahead of the competition these days is TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW: how to build a huge audience and how to sell to them.
Having a strong social media presence is a key component of succeeding in the modern music industry because it gives you an audience to market yourself to and get yourself fans. Growing your social media following is also one of the most cost effective ways of getting yourself out there and becoming noticed in the industry. Gotta just enjoy the process like i do for my channel. Your big moment is not going TO COME you gotta CREATE IT

JC as Gilbert. Perfect. Why did he have to leave us so soon. The whole cast and series is my all time classic fav. Very sad but i just keep watching them over. He is dashingly handsome.

1:40 "We had almost cast somebody else in the role of Gilbert, and [casting agent Diane Polley] insisted on bringing Jonathan in... " We will never know the actor who almost won the role of Gilbert. Could it have been Jason Priestley, as it was known he was among those who auditioned? Regardless of anyone's opinion of Priestley, Kevin Sullivan made the right choice to selecting Jonathan... in my eyes Jonathan Crombie IS Gilbert.
