The 990SMT was the ultimate - just as much hooligan ability, with an all day comfortable seat for two, great town bike, screen and half fairing so it’s rock steady in a rain storm at highway speeds and a rack for luggage! Best all rounder ever?
It's that high analogue/medium tech ratio that i love about old bikes. How much tech do i want on my bike? ABS and a digital speedo. Thats it. Still want a 990 SDR
Amazing as this may sound and it will be hard for you to comprehend ..... there are other countries on earth than the USA and people live in them and some ride motorbikes Its south african Rand
My 2007 superduke has this weird thing we’re it revs up on it own when I first start it does anyone know why this happens? And if I try to just start and go without letting it do it I’ll have stalling issues but as long as I wait a min and then go it’s fine
I got a 2008 tuono It's a really great bike except for the stators/rectifiers that die all the time. I live in australia and get out in the country areas and the electrics die it is a real problem ( stator/rectifiers don't give much warning ) The last time. it die it was 650km trip to go recover the bike.Trouble is that nobody knows a reliable fix.So it up for sale , shame it such a blast to ride.
www.apworkshops.co.uk/technical-info-videos/the-technical-bit-videos/gen-2-charging-issues/ I think it is important to replace a bad battery as fast as possible. My Tuono 2007 has been troublefree for me.

G310: that says it all. Older bikes every time.
Whining about seats when reviewing these type of bikes. . Wow. Stick to testing Goldwings and such.

I've had luck running heavier gauged wire on bikes with recurring stator/regulator/rectifier failures.
