- The report into Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents reveals the US President will not be charged.
The special counsel said the President came across to investigators as a “well-meaning, elderly man with poor memory”.
“While this report seems to say that he’s not going face criminal charges and that he did breach the handling requirements of classified documents from his time as vice president, this is a damning quote that will be a defining one for the end of the Biden presidency,” said Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen.
“It’s not the same severity of the level of what we’ve seen accused of Donald Trump and his handling of classified documents that he retained at Mar-a-Lago.
“His key issue, too, is that he continued to hold onto them after investigators wanted them back, whereas Biden’s camp seemed to react more quickly."
