this is the type of show that gets better and better each episode, at the 1st episode it always looks like it’s not as good as what people say BUT EPISODE 2 and so on is where it’s at. I always think that ep1 and 2 should be watched together.
i don't think anyone was looking down on arts. it was more for the specific club. The principal said the ones not showing a good result will be terminated and it was cause of the fight they started in hot wave the previous year. the other art clubs are not looked down upon.
Exactly. They have nothing against the Orchestra Club for example. It s just that people from the music club just happen to be troublemakers, quite lazy and do not do well in class. The bunk bed, the grill and the video games might probably be the most used items in the club.
i think it's a combination of both. for example, when they mentioned all the different chess clubs that the school allows to be open, but then there's like barely even 2 for music, and Phat mentioned how it's ironic that the school has such an artistic name but it only supports academic matters. it's true that the principal and the school in general has a particular distaste for the music club because they're known for being troublesome (and most likely has students that don't do very well academically), but it is also in general a very academic school that wants to look good on paper, so the artistic clubs aren't its #1 concern in the first place
This series was well-received on all major websites. I'd say around 95% of the comments about this show are positive or highly positive. Some people like it from the start, but others may not like the first episode. As people say it gets better and better. Overall, it's a really wholesome series.
I wasn't actually going to watch this show. GMMTV high school dramas normally aren't my fav, especially the bls. Like you, I also prefer darker more mature shows most of the time. However the day before the third episode aired I finally gave in because the people on Twitter wouldn't shut up about how cute it was. I sat down and binged the first two episodes and was totally sold, and with every new episode it just got better and better. In most shows, even my favorite ones, there always just ends up being filler episodes I don't really care about and never really rewatch. The show genuinely doesn't have that. Every episode is brilliant. The music is also super good. Every song but one is on my playlist, and that is coming from someone who is normally not a fan at all of bl OSTs. I can't wait to rewatch this great show with you!

I was really not interested in watching another high school series for a while, but my friend convinced me and thank god she did bc the show is amazing!
I think even though the first episode is pretty good it still does not show the scale of how great this series is going to be in the next episodes so I'm looking forward to your reaction from now on, thank you for the reaction.
At first glance... a Highschool comedy, in reality.... so so so much more, laughing, crying, cuteness overload, life lessons... everything one can hope for (even deeper issues and miracle in BL, no toxicity !). Not to mention great acting, editing and more than everything a top notch script where every detail has a purpose and everything comes around nothing being left unturn. Did we talk about the 14 songs the cast recorded and that are fully part of the script.
I do think ep 1&2 should be watch in one go.
I love msp so much that I'm binge watching reaction channels reacting to it. ☺️😅

Finally your reaction to MSP))))) this show won't disappoint you. It will become better and better. This show like antidepressant for me. I feel so incredibly better and happier after watching it. this is a great BL not just cause the newbies can act, but (like u also mentioned) even though there a ton of side character's they not just scenery or used as prop's to forward the mains story. here each one got personality - this is a great BL cause everything isn't on the mains "shoulders" to carry, here everyone's is sharing the load. which also makes this a much more realistic BL.
personally the vibe here reminds me of 'Cause You're My Boy 2018 (a personal fav of mine) it isn't hyped like many other BL's but the character's r normal (for want of a better word) like here, they teens that act like teens would. not to mention they down to earth n very loveable (even though have to point out that BL wasn't perfect n it was a totally rushed ending, but still loved it).
Ep 1 didn’t really catch my attention but from ep 2 I started liking it more than I was expecting!
im just going to warn you about how musical this show is going to be. there's going to be 1-2 songs each ep. they have 14 songs total for the show, 9 of which are original songs and rest are covers. almost every character has a song of their own. but yeah this show is very musical but it just shows how talented these new actors of gmm are. its going to be a fun and wholesome show. great acting, great chemistry and great music. enjoy it for what it is. some eps may not be as good as others ofc but overall its an amazing show:)
I agree with people saying by ep 2 it starts to pick up I definitely had my doubts starting this too but msp truly is a special show

I agree about the art thing. I study media design and some ppl were asking me why I won't find something more serious with a higher pay when I told them that I want to do something creative. Ppl are surrounded by art, but they take it for granted and undervalue it. If all the art in the world would suddenly disappear, maybe then they would understand.

@@JustalowlyChannel well, the students voted for Tinn, not his mother. Not that there won’t be some ethical questions along the way… but it is a rom-com, and like you said, doesn’t take itself too seriously!

It’s worth mentioning that the crowd at the folk music festival boos at first because the original tune that Chinzhilla are covering doesn’t start with that very soft opening that Chinzhilla gave it, but with a straight on rock opening, so it’s simply not meeting the crowd’s expectations. Every cover tune in this series is a well-known hit in Thailand.
This series is directed by P'Au (assistant director of P'Aof) and produced by P'Aof! This series has lots of influence from Bad Buddy. P'Au was playing Pran's senior in Bad Buddy, the one who directed the play.
I wouldn t say it was influence by Bad Buddy but because it s P'Au and P'Aof (and Mark Parkin) and because lots of msp cast did appeared in BB, there are a lot of references to BB. (Kind of to honor bad buddy)
