  • In this video, I dive deep into why the Weber Smokey Mountain isn't worth the hype and why I think it's a poor choice for anyone. I share my personal experience and point out the flaws you need to know before purchasing. From temperature control issues to build quality, I'll cover it all. If you're considering a smoker, watch this first!
I also compare the Weber Smokey Mountain with the Oklahoma Joe Bronco Pro, which in my opinion, offers superior performance, durability, and ease of use. Whether you're new to smoking or a seasoned pro, this comparison will help you make an informed decision.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments! Have you used either of these smokers?

The Weber has a 10yr warranty that bronco does not 😊

I doubt the warranty for a steel smoker amounts to much. i can see that being necessary for a ceramic kamado, but both the weber and the bronco will last a several lifetimes before they rust out.
I have access to both, the weber would rust out if you damage the porcelain coating. WSM uses a very thin gauge steel that is easily dented.
The bronco on the other hand, even if the porcelain coating gets damage, would take years to rust out since it uses a heavy gauge steel. The thing is a tank.
In other words, the warranty doesn't matter much to me. It might matter if you live near the ocean or somewhere with salt water.

I was looking at the Smokey Weber. Now you got me looking into the bronco. Also just getting into smoking.

      Hi Tiger Thanks for Watching!
Depending on your budget, I'd recommend in the following order:
      under ~100ish:
Buy a used weber kettle 22 on fb marketplace for $50, and get a slow n sear
      amzn.to/4gIzGWO
      Under $200:
      Akorn amzn.to/4eojkkn
      Around ~400:
      Regular Bronco
      amzn.to/4gJX71S
      Around ~$600:
      Bronco Pro
      amzn.to/3zuxGRk
The Bronco pro is already pretty great, but if you want what I think is currently the best end game smoker you can get right now, it would be the
      Weber Summit Kamado for $1299
      amzn.to/3ztr6dR
I'll probably make a video about this in the future
