Would I stop buying Aliexpress watches, no. Do I like the brand Revelot, yes. Haven't really bonded with the Gentus but the Hexmariner is their best watch for me. As for the Admiral it's probably too big for my spaghetti wrist but can't argue with the pricing.

I have two other Revelots (Universal and the Gentus). The value proposition of their watches is high. You get a lot of features and originality for a small price. Having said that, this watch's aesthetic doesn't appeal to me. I'll sit this one out, but wait for their next release. Their watches often look very different from other watches and also different from each other.

They have some really distinct designs and I've been really impressed with the price-quality ratio, as you say. But a few people have said the same thing, and it's definitely a Marmite design, so maybe the next one will be more up your street!

It looks very good and is tasteful, but it's too big and too black. The glow-in-the-dark makes it easy to find. At least, that's what your mother said in the skip just now.
The Molten Steel DLC is where it's at. If I didn't already own the Molten Steel SS they released last year I'd probably go for that one but this is indeed an insane amount of watch for the money anyway you slice it.

I had a look, but all of the styles I would buy, have a quartz movement - not on my watch!
I kinda like the design BUT i hate the crown placement on 4 o'clock and the weight of the watch quiet the same as my 5 years Tag Heure Carrera.😂 Of course with GMT, its considered as a very cheap watch tho.

Nice original design and looks like it’s nicely finished, but why does it have a 60 min unidirectional bezel? All GMTs should come with a 24 hour bi-directional bezels.
Because this is a caller GMT we decided it to be a Dive watch first and GMT second
@@Revelot_Official The type of the GMT movement makes no difference.
GMT watches are meant to track different time zones, you do that by using the second hour hand, but also a 24 H bezel, which has to be bidirectional.
A GMT watch with a diving bezel is a mishmash of watch design.
@@KMV007 A GMT 24HR bezel will allow tracking of 3 different timezones, where else ours allows for 2 timezones :)

Fair enough, mate! I've got to say, though, I think the San Martin originals are hideous. That sky blue dial diver with the brown markers and brown tropic strap? I've thrown up half-eaten kebabs that would look better on the wrist!
The watch is nice, it's just too big for me though!!!!!!!!! It would be good for me at 39 or 40mm!!!!!!!!!!!

the fact that Revelot dont offer refunds is a massive red flag - surprised you don't see fit to mention it. Maybe you weren't aware and had also missed my comment stating this on your last Revelot review?

Looks like a plastic Swatch. For some people, I suppose that's a good thing. I could imagine that this watch could possibly grow on you over time, kind of like a fungus....just kidding. One thing though, they should have put a spot of colour on the GMT hand. It's getting lost. As for the Ali Express brands, I'm sure this watch is made in the same factories. Some of them are coming up with original designs at long last, but an original design should be pleasing to look at, this is not. Of course it's down to taste I suppose.
Yeah, maybe some red text somewhere (like the "GMT" text), then a red GMT hand would have made it a bit more legible, and maybe given it a bit of a Darth Maul vibe. I quite like how clean the duotone is, mind
Is this an interesting watch? Yes. Is this a watch I can see myself wearing? No.
It's definitely a divisive design! Some people will be purring, though - a mate of mine absolutely loves it! Not an everyday piece for me, but a bit of a novelty/extremely sporty piece on certain occasions 😅
I reduced buying Chinese watches in general. But not because they are so bad. I avoid buying them because they are so good. They ruin the other countries. The Revelot you are showing here is super cool! Malaysia seems to be a good place to look for watches. 🕐⚙️🍸
