I think Eric's theory is right.
Why Disney's trilogy is utter garbage:
- there was no plan for the trilogy. They just made 3 standalone movies and called it a trilogy.
- The Empire was destroyed in ep6 but in ep7 they still exist and are even stronger?! wtf?!
- no world building at all whatsoever
- ep7 is just a remade ep4
- Rey has no character arch, no personality, nothing
- Disney doesn't understand the Force and treat it like Magic which can just do anything (superwoman Leia, necromancer Rey and Kylo Ren etc.)

The right is on the balance between light and dark- that's a theme from Clone Wars (which is canon). Another theme is that both the Jedi and Sith are wrong about the force, even wrong about their own favorite side of it.

Nah, Force Awakens is abso-fucking-lutely better than RotJ. Empire is the undisputed best Star Wars movie and I think that TFA is a better overall movie; dialogue, cinematography, character development, etc than A New Hope but ANH has the trump card because it started this fucking AWESOME franchise that we all love.
Not $19.99 but now $12.99 you can buy from UA-cam "the force awakens" in a place where no one wants it....
Eric & Derrick's theory combines are it I think. Rey is just a child of the force, no bloodline. And Kylo & Rey are force twins, most likely born on the same day, born as two halves of the same force. I think they're gonna make them lovers honestly, like soul mates
Star Wars 7 was such a copy and paste of the 4th movie. Almost a mirror image but with better graphics...

I think that mostly can be accepted with the theme of “balance”. Dark has so much the light needed something.
The original three movies are projection fantasy twilighetesque garbage. This is probably the best Star Wars movie.
