Better have Steph do a thorough wood tick search when you get home,this time of year they are out in force.Lymes disease is nasty, I've been trapping pocket gopher's since late Feb (yeah a warm winter) and in the last 2 weeks if you touch a blade of grass on the prairie or a twig in the woods you'll have a tick on you....

if you want to find some monster largemouth bass, try a small lake called mink lake, annandale and maple lake area. It gets weedy pretty early, but just 4 and 5 pound monsters in that lake.
Hey Sam, How often do you check for ticks at this time of the year? If you don't really think about the little Buggers, Maybe you should. The Tick infestation in the upper Mid-west is REALLY BAD. Just a note to make you aware of the problem.

Cool spot you found. I was the big bass and crappie guy on MN opener out of three guys in the boat. 20 inch largemouth and 12.75 inch crappie. Fished wright county mn.
