3:29 THE HORROR
Lol
Even if I have zero intention of buying the board you’re reviewing your content, especially your scripts and shots, are always on point. Thanks for being an amazing channel and we appreciate the honesty in the review!
That Nebula transition at the end was so good lmao.
I have a weird guilty pleasure for this board that I will never in my life indulge in, but its always fun to see what they try and do with it. Lots to like about the board until you read the pricetag. Its gaudy, but at least its different.
Also that "Do Not Sell" was 100% shade lmfaoooo
BadSeed with yet ANOTHER banger video! Keep ‘em coming!
I'll be honest. as cool as it is, waaaaaayyyyyyyy too pricey for me. still giving a thumbs up bc I know this would be a great review and you put a ton of work into your vids. although this is not worth it for me, love your work.
I always thought I needed a Cyberboard, but the price point and the uncustomizable typing feel made me reconsider.
ya i was the same way
why would you “need” a cyberboard??? imo it’s just mediocre sound and mediocre typing feel lol
@@nathanlee8494 obviously for the flex lmao
@@ZackTheViking96 it’s kinda ugly tho
@@nathanlee8494 Bulky too
I love the editing! Keep up the good work Bryan and please keep the keeb content coming! 👍🏼
Right as I was looking for a link, you mentioned the price... too rich for my taste
always love the editing, inspiring me to do some videos myself!
Ive wanted a cyberboard since R1, the design has so much potential, but every iteration has an issue thats prevented me from going in on it. R1 had the top mount and stiff typing experience, R2 Le smoking was the best, but didnt come to fruition due to manufacturing issues with the PVD coating and anodization and instead they released the pastel colorways, none of which i was interested in and now we have.... this. so much wasted potential.
I’m on the R1 and it’s amazing. The Bluetooth did stop working for me but that could be a firmware thing or something with my Mac but I have a cool cable I use anyways so it’s no biggie. The typing experience is amazing have some generic ABS keycaps and lubed tangerines and it’s a dream to type on. :)
great review ! love the b-rolls, compositions and great pacing. feels like you are falling into the keeb rabbit whole at light speed 😆 for when "BadSeed Keeb" 2nd channel? love the content!
Yaaasss..Love it bro. Price is definitely eye watering.
Wow these shots are out of this world! Truly a work of art and once again the Cyberboard it's out of my budget to no surprise.
Another excellent review. Thanks again, love all your videos. Great sense of humor and skills.
"Powered by monster energy" lmao
Its definitely an interesting looking board, its cool to see companies coming out with more keycap alternatives, even if these aren't my thing.
B roll is amazing! Great video. Unfortunately it looks like I’ll be passing on another cyber board release.
Damn this video was a vibe. I hate that I love this board. It's so aesthetically "too much" for me, but a part of me just craves it. My buddy has both the R1 and R2 and both sound good but also not my preference. I think it's desirable because of the fact that it's so out there. Regardless of all that, the loose "Matrix" theming is dope.
Damn! This board is 100% my vibe. But my CFO will have my head if I cop. Dope video either way brother!💪
Hey that nebula deal legit sounds great! 👌
Great review btw! love the looks of the keyboard but everything else just doesn't seem to deliver 😕
can you do a video about the GMMK 2? i dont know much about it but it would be cool to see your perspective on it, I bought the gmmk because the apex pro tkl was out of stock lol but then there is a gmmk 2 that is the perfect 65% size which would be even better for me
Hey @BadSeedTech. I want to know your thoughts on custom pc grills and how it can affect system cooling. Thanks, A new subscriber
I know the recording changes the sound a bit, but I loved it.
OMG I have been praying for someone to make this Matrix theme keyboard!
I think you should try some U4T's if you have in stock, maybe even some Holy 🐼 if u have them. I specifically didnt go with the Kiwi's cuz theyre high pitched. I appreciate the fuck out the dopest videos in UA-cam!
I make custom builds, but do a lot of cosmetic work to fit a theme. Want a Gundam build, I'll make it look like a Gundam. Want a Ghostbusters build, I will do that too. Even after all the paint, laser etching, and engraving, it still doesn't come near the $600 range.....and the boards are CNC milled aluminum bodies, so they aren't cheap. Pretty lights and Tesla truck designs do NOT constitute this bonkers price.
I can't afford to live in the Matrix, apparently.
Just make sure you're minding yourself Bri. We'll still be here after a good nights sleep my dude.
I have the R3 basalt black so wasn't going to pick up the Matrix, but really debating if I should get the keycaps as I think it looks kind of nice.
"Clearly- I won't tell you no because you're and adult"
well what if i wasnt
Sounds like I'm walking on thin ice.
Its definitely more for aesthetics. Probably my last CB (if i get one), then unto the next one.
Fire LOOKING board, no via support and polycarb case def not worth the $600 BAREBONES. Agree with you on it only being a statement piece. Love the honesty and great review 💪🏽
And here I am still debating with myself if I should spend 200bucks on the og80 that was posted a bit before. Love the slanted design of the functions key. But this one? Looks so nice and clean.. But the price man, damn.
Man Nebula is such a cool name for a website... I just can't afford it... Plus honestly I'd go to Floatplane from LTT if I didn't use youtube... Anyways banger video as usual, and I agree this board just doesn't own up to that 600/800 price tag. I mean shit the QK65 is just at $200 and feels like a WAY better deal/board.
I looked at the "Add to Cart" button when it went live, but was able to step away from my pc.
i like buying expensive shit for the sake of buying expensive shit as much as the next guy, but i just cant see how that thing could cost that much when the only real standout feature is a little screen of leds or whatever. looks cool enough, but could build something that looks as cool for prob $150 if youre good at diy.
Someone out there really dropped 600 beans
nice hoodie I love Patagonia.
Bro that Nebula transition 😂 top
the "not for sale" mark makes me want to buy that version more.
I just want the keycap set, honestly. Is there a way to buy just that separately?
I have no intention of buying this board, but man does it look good. I'm vibing on those caps pretty hard.
6:15 this is the REALIST talk right here.
What did you inject in the spacebar?
Great review as always.
Pity it is so expensive and not great sounding. I'd be much closer to pulling the trigger if it were just one of those :\
*sees that thumbnail*
Whoa...
you guys going to cover the Melgeek mojo 68?
I really love the body of this board, however I really wish that there was just an affordable bare bones option.
Just something that's always in stock idc the material just give us options on materials and colors.
It's hard to get because people like the aesthetic but I wouldn't see myself paying $600+ for a keyboard even if I do sit and type for 8 - 10 hours a day.
Just give me this exact layout with ISO-layout, hotswappable switches and without the screen. That would be the dream board for me.
loving that beard.
I paid over $1000 for an R3 in the secondary market. Since I can't find the one I want anymore. And the seller is selling unused. Soooo..... Yeah. NOT buying a keyboard. Not when it comes to one like this.
When u said fingerprint magnet it dawned on me this should have been a Razer product lol
I hate how much I love this keyboard...
When did Brian stop the "Ready? Let's go!"
Months ago lol
@@badseedtech Rip. Still great stuff as always though
You had your lawyers do a copyright check? 💀
Buying this board over literally anything else at this price point is insane
Are there any keyboards that has a similar typing sound like this? (Looking for a cheaper alternative lol)
Well I understand silicone layer for budget board but never on an expensive board. You just lose a lot of acoustic benefits. Look like keyboard your happy to look at but feel miserable typing on it. Not a great combo considering most of the time your going to type on it lol. Rather sacrifice some looks for immesne typing feel and sound.
I already own a R1 and R3 Cyberboard. I do not particularly like PC boards. They scratch easy and can be prone to cracking through thermal changes or from disassembly/assembly. Pass for me.
Man that thing does look awesome. 2-300? I mean sure I don't know what price point makes me want that. I do like the wireless charging, more people should definitely start doing that. I guess there's still a wire going somewhere though.
The board (without the switch+caps) is $600 +80-100 for shipping. so approx $700 for this. I got the R3 and been having a great time with the board and no complaints so far (except for the price, limited configuration and lack of customer support). Some of the pro are super long battery life (like weeks without charging), brick heavy board, and seamless transition between multiple PC. If you ask if I regretted getting this then I would say no and would do it again, but if you ask me if it's overpriced then heck yeah it is.
$800, no dedicated media keys or volume knob/roller though because those take up space? but there is plenty of room for a large display full of useless LEDs above the keyboard. Hillarious. Can some keyboard enthusiast explain that logic to me?
If those are the new TTC v2 pokayoke sockets, then they should be rated for 10,000 swaps
What in the spending allot of money I don’t have Batman! ?
Polycarbonate board for $850? I know it’s high quality, but what the fuck. Very cool board, I love the theme.
Interesting spin on the OG board but any board at this price, must feel & sound good so this is nothing more than a flexible gimmick IMO.
DAMN that's nice.
I am extremely new to the enthusiast keyboard world so I am just curious, what would make a board worth $800 when it is not a full custom build?
It is coustom parts
Those keycaps look glossy in a really bad way to me. Like old ABS caps.
Expensive for something you can build
I can't see the bundle being marketed to keyboard enthusiasts as at the price, it's more of a conversation starter than a daily driver. I see it marketed more for people into desk gadgets as a whole with a little extra money to spend. Even at $600 for the base kit, it's too much to work as a daily.
Wrote this before I finished the video 😥: I see you understand what I mean.
To be honest….it’s a wonderful daily, but definitely not the best bang for buck! I’ve been using my R2 since I got it
What is his desktop wallpaper plsss
I have a r1 Cyberboard, and i don't think that it's worth 600 dollars. Subjective, but for what your getting you're paying pretty much for that LED display, something you can't even see when your in front of the board. And the lack of features like VIA support and typing innovation make this a hard pill to swallow. So many other good boards out there that are arguably better than this, and for cheaper.
I want this keyboard sooo bad!
(re-lubed), nice touch!🤣
Glad somebody caught that lol
Those keycaps though
I like the aesthetics of the board - retro, chonky, industrial complex plastics with the customizable pixel screen, but the user experience and price make it a hard pass.
LOL 600.00 bones. Maybe I'm too old and don't understand keyboards and why 600 dollars is a great deal... doubt I will either.
Way overpriced for a keyboard that doesn't have VIA/QMK and not much customization. But as always, I appreciate the time and effort you put into making your videos, Brian.
I've built entire gaming pcs for less than this keyboard. And not old used parts.
why so much shine?
The Bro Kyle Edition
@badseed tech - want to sell yours or give it away? If so, I will take it off your hands. This will fit right into my current build/setup theme.
Gorgeous for sure, but too damn expensive.
great video! the board itself is still a nope for me.
interesting, stay up
BT and no 2,4ghz on this Price ??? LOL
Personally, I find it astonishing that they could switch from an aluminum case to a polycarbonate one and still ask $600 for it.
Angry Miao is really giving me the impression that they're not into the keyboards as much as they are the profits... Maybe the next version of this keyboard switch back to high end materials and improve upon the base design.
Actually if I am not wrong polycarbonate costs more than aluminum, although it may not feel as premium, poly costs more and is more expensive but yeah I don't know I feel like this drop is a waste.
man who boutta spend a rack on a keyboard
I love your vids, 800 does not justify that keyboard im sorry but I rather spend that on pc parts
bro i dont care how good the plastic is, plastic will NEVER be worth $600.
So I assume you don’t have to run it in the „terminal“ mode or green in general? Because ew
i see what you did there
I hate group buys. I mean come on… really? It’s a very short notice to buy it.
Good thing I just got a job
This most definitely is not The One!
Solid play
No Via or QMK = No Buy. Simple as that.
Ooofff, Ill pass on this. It does looks cool though. BUT those Kiwi's need some lube and maybe switch films.
Expensive plastic. If it was alu. I would buy it. But..
It's a great looking board but not something I would buy even if I could afford it.
