Bit of constructive feedback.. have followed you for 8 years, went to your book launch in Dublin etc. will miss the weekly videos, they were a big plus on the relatability side, which I feel has been less visible in recent years. The content has been very streamlined. Personally loved how you did a bit of everything before, have not loved the focus on fashion in recent years as fashion itself is only one distinct area, but your type/style of fashion is also quite narrow so has isolated (for want of a better word) me as a viewer. I’m just not that into it. But obviously understand people need to grow and you need to do what you love. The very best of luck with the journey!
I agree with this. I also feel like everything has become very edited/refined/streamlined/polished/unrelatable. Showhome/fashion magazine/etc vibes which as a 'normal' working mother it's just not something I can connect to anymore 😩

As Joni Mitchell once said during a concert, “No one ever says to Van Gogh, ‘Paint A Starry Night again, man!’” Love the gorgeous reno and that beautiful bouquet on the kitchen counter. Paint suggestion: eggshell finish! I didn’t know what that was until we had our house interior painted this summer and it is a game-changer! Not too glossy, not too flat and marks just WIPE OFF. 🥳 Most paint colors come in eggshell finish, highly recommend. It’s brilliant.

I’ll be sad if long-form video disappears or is drastically less popular (and that’s across UA-cam) but I’m excited to see how your content will continue to evolve! I’ve been here since nearly the beginning (I accidentally unsubscribed at some point so my stats aren’t correct) and I’ve always felt you were nodding to trends without abandoning routine or tradition.
I think I’m at about the same stage of our building project. We started a kitchen/dining extension on 9th January and we are within finger tips of finishing. It’s taken longer than we expected but our builder is coming on Friday and Saturday this week to finish 🤞
You mentioned ham and my brain went "ahhhh, its their prosciutto popo"... Now I feel I must share this with the world. If only to have someone else validate my bizarre (primary school teaching) need for alliteration.
It’s funny how couples with children are always amazed how perfect their life is when they get away just the two of them..😀 yes! That perfect life could be your every day life if you didn’t decide to have children! 🤣 that is the actual life of all those couples that are childless 🙌 (and are being constantly criticized by not having children) 🤣

In my opinion it’a good call to end weekly videos, they were like a podcasts lately with just talking. I usually would like to actually see something in videos rather than just listening someone talking for 15 minutes.

Your kitchen is beautiful! But I am still surprised you chose such a small sink. Have you run into issues washing big pots and pans?

It looks a lot like this French doors were the old external walls before the extension was built, so would be leading to the current utility room
