Yes! 😢 I give my 2 year old ELSE formula and milk about 3-4 times a day because he is a "picky eater". I am afraid he will get sick for having vitamin deficiencies. I feel stuck.
Hi I just want to ask, if it is okay if my 2 years old daughter drinks less milk now. We give her milk when she wakes up, before nap time, and before going to bed. But it's hard for her even to finish 100ml of formula milk. But she is a good eater of rice, meats, veggies and fruits. She don't like biscuits only fruits for snacks.
In that case, cut snacks or drastically reduce. He needs to be hungry for meal times otherwise he will just think well Im having snacks and milk anyway why do I need to eat my meal/vegetables and proteins etc. so I’d say, create a stricter schedule, nothing when he wakes up till hes eaten breakfast, then have a break, then snack time, then after 1-2 hours give lunch so he has time to get hungry again for lunch. Afternoon snack or milk time and then dinner
Is your 2-year-old too dependent on milk? What worries you about this?

Yes, it's ok to drink less as a toddler - 16 - 20 oz per day is recommended max.

My 2 year old will only drink in a feeding bottle and won't drink water either. This is my problem. He won't drink from a cup.
try a small amount of liquid in an open top cup and let him practice.
