Take another look at Cam York, he had some solid peripherals last year, with PP2 time. When he was moved to PP1 his shot rate jumped up. Now he skating on the clear PP1 with Philly top 4 forwards, which is not how they ran the it last year, he’s a BIG breakout candidate! I’d take him over lots of other PP1 guys with bad peripherals, L. Hughes, Ghost, Clark, Boqvist, Hutson, Zellwegar, Walman. Plus he got more upside than all then most PP2 defensive man. He’s in a contract year, has progressively gotten better each season, and entering his prime. Could definitely be a top 30 d man at years end.
what is the future of the devils D-core? from a long term perspective (keeper/dynasty league perspective). seems like there are too many players that could drive a power play (hamilton, luke, seamus casey, nemec)
In an 8 man H2H points league with 4 starting d do I run 5d or drop forsling and pick up Ehlers ,scheitele or Horvat. There is an extra forward spot in my league
One guy nobody talks about and is my Dark Horse sleeper pick for Calder is Calum Ritchie. I think he makes the team. Landy is still a huge ???? in so many ways. Nis is still suspended for a few months and can he finally get it together ??? The rest of the team after Makar,MCKinnon, and Rantanen are pretty slim pickings for providing offense. Kovalenko and Drouin will produce because of who they are playing with, Middlestad should hit 60 at least ,but I still see room for Ritchie. The guy is NHL ready. I felt this way before he scored his crazy fake shot breakaway goal as well. Yahoo wouldn't let me draft him in a 14 team 29 round league.

That is solid. What defines your league as a banger league, that is the question. Mine is 10 teams with the usuals that yahoo offers with the added cats of PM and blocks. The other one I joined fresh this year was an insane 14 team 29 rounder. I figured my top picks in this one should be all out offense because you have 2C, 2L,2R, 6D, and 2Utilitu as well as 5F spots open on any given day. I knew I could get PM, and hit guys in the later rounds. I like your team though, I really doubt you have PM, and maybe blocks in it???
@aronbrown9411 It is a yahoo league with hits pims and blocks. It also has PM but I punt that category in my drafts because, that is so hard to predict. We have 2c 2lw 2rw 4d slots and a bench of 4 and 2 goalies.
How exactly does drafters work? Does it set lineups for me? Is there anything stopping me from only picking 3 d and loading up on forwards? I cant find any actual rules and how it works on their website
No roster management, automatically set. Nothing stopping you from loading up on D, you can do a bunch of variations of teams that you like. Also when you click on the $11 championship you can see site rules and scoring if you scroll down a tiny bit

I appreciate you mentioning that plus minus really hurts Seth jones. In previous videos you haven’t mentioned that, and his performance in my league last year, despite having hits, shots and blocks, he was a stinker.
Dude at some point you have to think for yourself and judge what players are good based on your league settings. You shouldn't need someone else to tell you that players on bad teams are less valuable in +/- leagues

My league needs 3 appearances a week for goalies. Counts W, GA, SV, and shutouts. Do I drop Silovs (my 3rd goalie, I have Binners and Kochetkov) and pick up Adam B as a 5th dman? (My dmen are Josi, Hedman, Faber and Werenski)
God no. Thomas doesn't shoot, like at all, but he was great otherwise last year. I wouldn't trade Q Hughes for anything short of a 1st round F or Josi+ a sweetener
Speaking as someone who has drafted Hamilton 2x over the past handful of years, I'll never pick him again. He's just way too risky. I get burned every time.

don't run 5d especially with Forsling, is it just forwards (not centers, rw, lw etc?) if so pick up Horvat or Scheifele, can't go wrong with either
