I’d say the lighter colors are cooler in the summer. I have a yellow and orange and they don’t absorb as much light and heat. But the ventilation is minimal. Hope this helps!

We actually have the same measurements! Yes, you'll definitely be fine with a Large. The shirt does fit bigger. Technically, its recommended to size down to a Medium but most people don't realize that the Large shrinks down a little into a true Large especially if you'll be using the dryer.

No problem at all. I’d say if you like that bit of room you should stay in Large.
i usually used L in uiqlo airsm tshirt to look oversized, but with carhartt i go down to size M but its slighly bigger than uniqlo size L 😅
