Tahajjud is definitely the key! My life completely changed for the better once i started it. It's not difficult to wake up people add an alarm on your phone 20min before Fajr and pray tahajjud.
And what of the prayers your Lord commanded you to pray, were they not the answer? Did Allah deceive you?. Tahajjud does not exist in the Quran, it is a Bid'ah an innovation. Only the fabricators of Hadith attributed this practice to the prophet.

I 100% agree with her observation about "crisis of prayer" it's so much common among Muslims being casual about offering prayer regularly and on time and praying Fard and Sunnah all.
So beautiful Mashaa Alah, I actually was wondering why I had more feeling of healthy body and energy in the 10 days of Dhul Hijja this year, mainly in days when I slept early and woke up before fajr.. Alhamdolelah for Islam and for such beautiful scolars/people of knowledge, Alahoma Barak
Masha Allah, I'm learning SOOO Much from this revert to Islam, I am in gratitude for coming to this youtube page, congratulations to Yaqeen Podcast for this talk and for getting to talk to this blessed sister Dr. Tamara Gray, al hamdulillah
May Allah bless both for the information provided. I agree with Dr. Gray about tahajud prayers. Since I been praying tajajud I have more energy, I am more focus on my obligatory prayers, I complete my dikr, and my supplications have increased. Tajajud is a proof it really works.
What an inspiring human being and what a beautiful drum for her to beat! I hope you write a book Dr. Tamara Gray ♡ the world needs more of your eloquence and loving approach.
What she is saying is that accomplish the hardest thing (voluntary Tahajud) and that will minimize the weight of the obligatory tasks (Fajr, Maghreb) to a lighter feeling that you can easily achieve
BarakahAllahufeekum that was so nice! I can really attest to what Dr. Tamara said: When I am in a state of Ghafla and I fall out of praying Tahajjud and stop doing Dhikr, then I need so much sleep and still, I feel restless and tired, this leads to being more moody and anxious and eventually puts me in a state that does not align with my character, at all. However, when I am in that habit of praying Tahajjud and doing Dhikr, then my spirits are lifted; I feel well-rested and rejuvenated even after just 5hours of sleep and I am in a much more productive and positive state + I actually get things done as opposed to those time periods where I am in a state of Ghafla. May Allah forgive us all and guide us to a better state.
MashaAllah Good talk! For the sleep deprived folks there is this thing called Qailula in Urdu & Siesta in Spanish (the afternoon nap) 💤 that can help those, who need to catch up with their sleep but also want to be regular in their prayers. And as for developing a good new habit , I think I read a Hadith about a 30 day … example and this helped me relate it with the time of Ramadan, when we can start practicing not only fard prayers and fasting but also Tahajjud prayers besides doing several other good deeds to become deserving of Allah’s magnificent grace, rewards & blessings . 💫
Subhan'Allah. The beauty of tahhajjud is that u r in direct contact with Allah swt. Imagine early part of the morning with the lights off in the serene scene. Away from the world.
It’s the best times. After doing tahajjud and Fajr prayers, I usually look at the sky and it’s the most beautiful thing ever, the stars and moon, MashaAllah.
Alhamdulillah, i started practicing tahajjud since i was a student, MasyaAllah, Allah makes it easy for me. Until now, i sleep early, and my eyes will automatically open before fajr that enables me to do tahajjud. If i sleep at 10pm, my eyes will open at 4.30am, the latest 5 am.
From always reading quran when I was very young to tahajjud it did not take me any time automatically I started waking up for tahajudd till date that is about 40 years ago.my quran is always by my side till date always reading and tajhudd till date.
Sub7anAllah feel so blessed to have received this information. So true! Imagine what your life would be like if you took each of the 5 prayers as opportunities and consistently did 5 prayers in a day, a month, a year, a decade? Mathematically speaking the permutations of possibilities are endless.
depends on relationship with Allah, you want to get closer to his so it becomes easy, im working on myself, lots of time im in pain but i tug on myself to make prayer and night prayer when i can, i often feel that its an extra deed that once its time is gone, its gone and you can never get it back, whos Allah is what i ask myself, hes the one who sustains me an is worthy of praise and prayer, may Allah swt bless us and make the prayer easy and beloved by us. Thank you for this video
Hi all. If you would allow me to share here, on minute 13. The question of 7-8 hours of uniterrupted sleep vs waking up for tahajjud. I once read a sunnah: Rasulullah PBUH is a ln early sleeper. After Isya, he would spend some time with his wife and then goes to sleep. Thus, by the time he wakes up for tahajjud, he already had ample amount of healthy sleep. After tahajjud, he would sleep about 15 mins or so and Bilal would wake him up for Fajr. After fajr, he doesnt sleep. He starts the day. There is also a sunnah saying it is not advisable to sleep again after fajr. That is his sleep routine and how he starts the day. So yeah, ample sleep and doing tahajjid is completely doable. It is us, modern people who sleep late. If we follow that sunnah, we get both. wallahualam.
Asalaamu alaykum! Thank you so much for the discussion about Tahajjud prayers. Yes, I agree that Tahajjud is special and very precious to those who practice it. I have found peace and happiness in praying Tahajjud. Reading the Holy Quran at Tahajjud is very fulfilling. Surah Al Muzzammil tells us about Tahajjud and the benefits of reading the Quran at that time. I hope we can learn wisdom and patience to follow the path of righteousness. Salaams to everyone. Whether joy or sorrow I love to share everything with my lord. I feel lonely, and my lord is there for me while I pour out my heart to him. I pray that Allah Swat allows me to serve him and worship him till the last breathe of my life by keeping me physically fit and able and facilitate me to do extended sujood even in my old age. May Allah Swat expand His blessing on me... I love my lord beyond eternities.
This is the beautiful comment.

Alhamdulillah, already habit for me for the last 4 years. No longer stayed up late. By 10pm already on my bed to make sure 3.45am i wake up. And keep asking to myself why i didnt do this like from 20years ago!
Tahajjud is definitely the key! My life completely changed for the better once i started it. It's not difficult to wake up people add an alarm on your phone 20min before Fajr and pray tahajjud.
Nothing trying to be judgmental but changing the profile pic will do more to convey your advice
And what of the prayers your Lord commanded you to pray, were they not the answer? Did Allah deceive you?. Tahajjud does not exist in the Quran, it is a Bid'ah an innovation. Only the fabricators of Hadith attributed this practice to the prophet.
@@fuckuallmothers I pray all 5 prayers as well as tahajjud. Do you not read the quran? there is a verse about Tahajjud in it.
(1) And in some parts of the night (also) offer the Salat (prayer) with it (i.e. recite the Qur'an in the prayer), as an additional prayer (tahajjud optional prayer - Nawafil) for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم). I found out Tahajjud prayer, one of my sleepless night through Internet . I took notes how to do this prayer few years ago. Since I was working as a teacher I couldn’t do that many time. Last year I retired and I started to do Tahajjud @3:am peacefully and do Serious Duas for my family without rush. It’s the time to talk to Allah about our worries and fears and ask help to solve problems. Masha Allah , Allah heard me and solved many problems So I made a habit of Tahajjud prayer I set my alarm and wake up for Tahajjud I love it Thank Allah I did umrah and Hajj
👌🏻❤
Alhamdulilah...
Jazakallah Khair! This episode inspired me to set my intentions for praying tahajjud Inshallah!
Literally! In shaa Allah

There is no such thing tahajjud prayer in the glorious quran. Quran teaches to be practical not ritualistic

Beautiful podcast 👏 👌 ...Tahajud is the best Feeling in the world ...The less I sleep the better I look...the more I sleep the more sluggish I feel throughout the day..All my prays are answered. Slowly slowly everything abt Islam and what Allah swt has said is being scientifically proven...They will get to Tahajud also saying ,"how less sleep is better for us.".!!
Tahajud makes you easy during the day and things go on smoothly
Because of dr tamara gray i start praying tahajjud and since than i cant live without, alhamdulliah. For the ladies make a habit even the times when you cant pray to wake up and do dikr and make dua and read after fajr your morning adkar, inshaAllah 💗

I love Tahajjud so much automatically 💓
If someone wants something bad enough they will get up and pray it.

Ma shaa ALLAH so true ,Tahajjud is a very good addiction to get into an dit definitely makes your day go smoothly and also all the salahs fall into place ALHAMDULILLAH
I 100% agree with her observation about "crisis of prayer" it's so much common among Muslims being casual about offering prayer regularly and on time and praying Fard and Sunnah all.
Totally and it makes me somewhat angry to be honest. I think to myself this is such a beautiful deen why are Muslims taking it soo lightly!

Tamara Gray, al hamdulillah
why mention revert? she's a muslim alhamdulillah.
Tahajud is part of my life. Is one of the most direct way to talk to the Almighty Allah (swt). I see alots of Allah miracle.
May Allah bless both for the information provided. I agree with Dr. Gray about tahajud prayers. Since I been praying tajajud I have more energy, I am more focus on my obligatory prayers, I complete my dikr, and my supplications have increased. Tajajud is a proof it really works.
If I can have my mother in law with this much knowledge Alhamdulillah I'll be blessed..
What an inspiring human being and what a beautiful drum for her to beat! I hope you write a book Dr. Tamara Gray ♡ the world needs more of your eloquence and loving approach.
One of her book: Joy Jots By Dr Anse Tamara Gray🌸🤩
I think she has written a few 🥰

@Rukhsana:
I truly admire ur Beautiful Reflections of 30 days habbit with Ramadan.

Hi all. If you would allow me to share here, on minute 13. The question of 7-8 hours of uniterrupted sleep vs waking up for tahajjud. I once read a sunnah:
Rasulullah PBUH is a ln early sleeper.
Masha Allah, this was very good and encouraging reminder for me to start doing Tahajud!
Thanks for this lecture . lots of love to the lady
