@@masterwhopper414 I did it when I was 16 (it was 2003 then) and I managed just fine. I mean, sure, it was supervised apartment training for the first 2 years because I wasn't a legal adult yet, but I still had to find a part time job because I needed to buy my own clothes, food and other basic necessities (except for rent. That didn't start until I was 18). Sure, it was rough going, but I managed. 18-19 were the roughest years because I was still in school then, but I also had to pay my rent, food, clothes etc so I had to work a parttime job just to barely make ends meet and never had any time off, but eventually I managed to live comfortably even in a supposedly shitty economic state. Just a matter of wanting it bad enough and being willing to bust your ass for it.
The last part is spectacular. Topher Grace was perfect for the role of Eric. Original cast is just amazing. And the writing is so... awesome: appropriate, perfect dialogues, characters well developed. I know that there is fatigue and the last seasons were not so great but the awesome suff is so overwhelming. I watched this show several times - as teenager I was so in love in perfect girlfriend Donna. And when I grew older I got more and more from the show because it has layers. Recently I saw a clip with just serious sceens and this show was beyond just laughter. Kudos to creators and everyone involved.
0:02 Laurie: Hey mom, where's daddy? I need $20. Kitty: For what? Laurie: In an effort to cleanup my act, I'm buying my own drinks now. Kitty: Well, he's not home. When Eric told him about his little plan about moving away with Donna after graduation, your father went fishing. Eric: What?! Laurie: NO!
to understand why kitty was shocked about the 1930's comment, that would be like someone telling a woman's kitty age today that she graduated high school in the 1970's (in otherwords, calling her almost 60)
"The Chosen One"...by the same guy whose so into Star Wars... Unironic Palpatine: ...ironic. (in context of That '70s Show, decades before the Prequel Trilogy 😂I can hardly wait for Eric's reaction to The Phantom Menace in That '90s Show...obviously near the final season if it's around long enough)
I know its a comedy, but red spent erics entire life making him feel not welcome and ridiculing him, calling him a dumbass and never showing him any love. And now he's supposed to feel bad about leaving thay environment? Or believe that hos dad actually wanys him around?
I understand that this video was uploaded in 2008, but this video has a lower pixel count than Cyberpunk on a base console, and that's saying something.
jamesha175 They are stupid, but to their credit here, they were at least appropriately placed at moments that are legit funny compared to other sitcoms today where they are placed in areas where the humor seems to be forced.
They're are many examples of sitcoms with laugh tracks being some of the greatest tv out there, Seinfeld, Cheers, The It Crowd and etc. If used correctly and appropriately, it's not distracting and if could come off seemless, the big problem is whether the show is actually funny. If not it's alot of dead silence with a laugh track telling you when to laugh at terrible jokes. It's extremely dated and of the last 15 years i haven't watched any sitcoms with laugh tracks, but to say it ruins a show is just ludicrous. It's not the laugh track that ruins a show, it's the show ruining its self. Big Bang doesn't turn funny once you remove the laugh track and cut it down to a one camera set up.
Donna saying “well maybe not in the ‘30s” was definitely my favorite part of this whole scene 😂 That subtle burn though!
They couldn't have chosen a better actress to play Laurie.
And she's dead now
Yeah she was SO good that they had to replace the actress because she had substance abuse issues that eventually killed her...
@@andrew_4747 Doesn't take away from the talent she had to play Laurie well. Whenever she came on camera she stole the show.
@@p994able It does take away because she got so out of hand they had to remove her from the show

"...RECLAIM MY PLACE AS THE CHOSEN ONE!!!" 😈😈😈😈
That sounded more like venom talking.. lol
Menopause Kitty was the best Kitty
Kitty Forman was the heart of this show. I know, I love the kids, too, but can you imagine not having her? Can you imagine anyone else playing her?
Any Kitty is best Kitty.
1:55 “ Hey, Eric, why don’t you tell dad you’re moving after graduation so he’ll kill you and I can reclaim my rightful place as *tHE CHOSEN ONE* “
Lol
"Grown-ups don't just leave the comfort of their parents home to move to a new city and start a life!"
Well apparently I'm living my life wrong.
Well if Kitty said this in 2017, she'd be 100% correct. No one who's 20 can afford to do that
masterwhopper414 for real though
I did that and yeah, lived pretty poor for awhile.....

I can't remember why this would bother him, he wanted Eric to move out before.
Because Red and Kitty weren't expecting Eric to call their bluff.
He never truly wanted Eric to move atleast so soon

Damn kitty is strong she slammed the drawer so hard she moved the whole thing
wasn't 20$ in the 70's like 200$ today???
