The largest Port of Greece did not disappoint. Talk about a bevy of food, seaside views and history
Greece is magnificent in every corner of the country, well reach history left some amazing footprint.
Just wish I had time to go to the islands.
Greece is the birthplace of democracy and Western Civilization! Wonderful country! Hospitable people and delicious food! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful large port. I love how you made friends with the local cats!
Finally found one that would be nice to me 😂
Hello
We love Greece. Tasty food and good history information 👍
I didn't get to the islands. Did you by chance visit any of them?
Fantastic episode! It's amazing to see the blend of history and modernity in Piraeus, one of the world's oldest ports. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see where you'll take us next
Thanks, oh the next video is gonna be a doozy
Can't wait@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon
That breakfast looked really yummy!!! Wow!
Oh it was delicious
Look at the food its so delicious and tempting, That lemon drink is refreshing, ambiance is surrounded by nature and greenery. Exploring largest port is totally worth it. Love the tour.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the tour of Pireaus
16:03 Those big stones behind you are all that is left of the great wall of Athens that Pericles built when he was Archon of the city, around 450 BC.
Oh cool. I did not know that. Thank you
We went on a cruise that docked in Piraeus, but we actually took a tour into Athens and didn't get to see around the port. Seems like a missed opportunity! That breakfast your tried looked delish. I'd also love to try the souvlaki skewers too. Adding it to a future travel list!
I mean if you have only one day on your first port, Athens has to be done. I do recommend going back and experiencing Pireaus itself now that you've 👍 me the Athens thing.
Definitely! Would love to see a lot of Greece again and your recent trip has made me start looking for flights! Just need more time off work lol.@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon
Time to cruise to Greece :}. Beautiful city with some really cool sites. Museum looked really cool as well as the old theater and statues there. Had fun with the upbeat music. You and the yacht club go together well. :}
Well if you do you'll be docking right in Pireaus.
oooh the meat looks SO GOOD! Interesting tour of the city, so much boat traffic (is that a thing????) important place to know! Thanks for sharing Ben!
Oh absolutely it's a thing here.
The port looks very cool and those yachts, wow. They are something. Great tip on the reduce and off season rates for budget travelers.
That was actually a nice surprise the whole trip.
It is so interesting to see how they managed to balance all the new builds/infrastructure to support such a large port with the historic beauty of Greece.
It's a fascinating port that's for certain.
another great video from Piraeus, Greece is small but we have the largest fleet in the world. Welcome my friends 🇬🇷💙
I really enjoyed my time in Piraeus
Love this one the best! It's so beautiful there. I did laugh a bit towards the end of the video... Oops I did it again 😂
😂😂 what can I say
Loving your Greece adventure
Eggs looked delicious like you I love a coffee to start the day.

I appreciate the support! Thank you so much.
Thanks a lot for this great video!! This is exactly what I wanted to see in Piraeus before comming there:)
Glad I could be of help.
What do you mean? So you didn’t go there on your private yacht 😂! But seriously the archeological museum looks pretty fascinating. Definitely something I would check out. And I would love to hear from others to see if there is a consistent thing about entry charges during off season. Lol at the cute cat. Even though I don’t blame the cat. The calamari looked great!
If I had a private yacht I may not be doing this 😂
This little chapel on the beach, is Saint Nicholas’s chapel, the protector of the sailors inGreece.
Ah the sailors patron. I didn't know that. Thanks for the insight.
The girls love your cat friends!
Oh just wait for the Kotor Montenegro video.
Your video is smarter than other people.
But again is very small part what you really can show to people. You should make other films about Pireus
In Athens is much more places with sea and beaches worthy to explore. Good luck
I plan to go back for sure and delve far more someday.
great video
Thanks I appreciate that
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon you’re welcome, we have just booked to stay there at the end of this month because of your videos 👍🏼👍🏼
@@16danielmartin awesome 😎! Have an absolute blast. If you find some good eateries that I don't cover let me know. I'll mark them for next time.
Hello, ? If im taking a cruise starting in Athens, going to fly in the day before, do you know some safe, nice Hotels to stay in close to the port?? TY!
I would probably have to refer you to hotel websites. Booking.com or Hotels.com I didn't stay in a hotel down there myself. There are several hotels right off the water and near the metro station. Theoxenia Piraeus Hotel pops up a lot for me.
