All you have to do is ride up right next to it with your horse and kick it from your horse, its easy, just kick it a couple times and the gold shoots right out

Gold was priced at around $20 an ounce between 1899 and 1907. Those gold ingots say 48.65 oz, which means they'd be worth around $1,000. The boahs are being ripped off big time! (They'd be worth around $83,000 today)
It really works. When I was looking for treasures for Arthur, I found them all. Spent all the money for John without saving Arthur's money at the pig farm. Thanks to this video, I now have 56 thousand dollars. THANKS TO THE AUTHOR!
The old glitch near the first campsite with arthur was amazing, i once made over 40000$. No worries about cash anymore but sadly enough they patched it later on

Or you can do it with Arthur using the "Angelo Bronte glitch". Just DON'T OPEN the lock box. Kick the gold ingot/bar outside of it until the interaction menu says "take goldbar", not "inspect lock box". Go make something else, like fish a Legendary Fish, grab Otis Miller revolver, hunt armadillos, banded Gila monsters, or collared peccarys and repeat the process. Needless to say, you can always leave your money to John by not going back for your money as Arthur at Aberdeen Pig Farm, but going back as John on the Epilogue and checking behind the siblings' mother painting.

So, instead of "loot lock box", I got the message "take gold ingot". YES, the lock box seems to be intangible (ghost-like) both to your feet and to the gold ingot inside it. That's why you can kick the gold ingot out literally passing through it. Just don't take it directly from inside the lock box.

There's a other gold glitch you can get at chapter 2 it's at the little burnt town you go there you can open this little box and save before you touch anything then reload and unlimited gold blocks but when you open it make sure there's a piece of paper then do what l said there is lots of videos of it if I didn't explain it right
Ok, that´s nice. But why should I cheat gold after chapter 6? At this point in the game I usually have 20-30k and don´t know what to do with it. A glitch you can use immediately after the prolog, like the drunken poker players near Van Hoorn is helpful.

This house and its contents will reset upon reload, you can do it as often as you want.
As Arthur in the shady belle hideout you can constantly get the loot from the cemetery nearby with the lockbox and the jewelry bags and money, I always thought of it as Micah's secret stash of loot I could steal from him 🤭 -The Gunslinger
To be more specific I mean behind shady belle past where the graves are, and that it only works if you are Arthur during the whole entirety of having the hideout be shady belle, any mission after the epilogue will only have the jewelry bag return I think, and I only tested it after the epilogue and I believe it doesn't respawn after the epilogue as John Marston -Jack
But to clarify, the money and jewelry bags are respawn as Arthur, so Arthur can enjoy "Infinite" Jewelry Bags and the amount of $50 dollars I think from the lockbox, you just reload the game and it respawns again and again, but once you do the mission to go to the final hideout the loot is then nonrenewable and won't respawn, so you can use the Aberdeen pig farm tactic to save money or just beat the epilogue and get $10000 or so for beating the game -Jack
In case ur still doing this glitch. Try jumping from the thingy straight in the gold ingot. Most of the time it shoots away to the ground. If it gets stuck under the box go crazy on ur joystick till u basically dance and it'll get away
It works, though you can take things out of the box to do it. You just need to kick the gold out which is tough to get used to. Took me about an hour and a half to get 66
It's even better if you do this and not open the box that way you can always come back to it anytime just keep doing the same thing with the box closed it's infinite..... Once you open the box

I think so, I turned off auto save after going through all the trouble of stealing the Braithwaite horse and only getting to use it about 15 minutes before it died from an accidental fire, lost it permanently due to auto save. You just need to do frequent manual saves.
You should have gone to Emerald ranch because Emerald ranch has a bonus for gold ingots I believe, Maybe that might just be gold bars though because if you bring a gold bar to the Emerald ranch Offense then you will get $500

Good job, you make it look easy. I was only able to get it out of the box a couple times, but didn't need any more money so I gave up.
