This whole thing is great. The special effects had purpose, the theme of the M/V was very clear and followed through. The choreo and execution was on point, very current. And Alexa's presence and performance were solid, in character the whole time. I love an actual performing artists. I hope she keeps it coming.
In case you're wondering, Zanybros is responsible for the really high quality effects - they are one of the top video producers in Korea (and worldwide) - and they've produced a lot of the most expensive mvs in Kpop history (B.A.P's One Shot, Girls Generation I Got A Boy, 4Minute Crazy and Hate, just to name a few). Alexa is super talented, the choreo is great and the beat is great, but I thought the song was just ok tbh

I've been following Alex for awhile - I love her song and MV for Strike It Up, her dance covers and was rooting for her on P48. Because I didn't love the song does not mean I am a BTS stan automatically - I do like BTS but I'm also a huge EXO, Vixx, GFriend, SNSD (lifelong SONE), Dreamcatcher, Ateez, Shinee, Minseo, Baek Ji Young, Hyukoh, FT Island, Day 6, CN Blue - a long list of groups and performers. Btw, even for groups and artists I love, I don't automatically love every song - for instance, I really love Dreamcatcher but didn't like their Japanese release Breaking Out. People are way too sensitive. I love the mv, thought the choreo was great and Alex is a talented artist - but I just thought the song was ok.
I’ve been following her since her early Instagram cover days. I was pleasantly surprised to see how supportive everybody’s been so far! It’s usually tough for mixed artists to make it in Kpop (only a few have made it big/mainstream like somi and Hansol/Vernon)
This looks like a continuation of the scene from kill this love Lara Croft just darker. It was ok. The kpop songs i like are ones that catch me with the first few seconds and this didn't do it.
