We do attend a service together on Sunday evenings, which is really nice, but the rest of the time, I'm involved in a place where I can worship and minister and grow freely without feeling judged. .. God has been good to me.

yes, me too. No one in my family is a believer and I wasn't planning on returning to my hometown, but I got a gentle message that it was time to drive across country to be with my mom in the later part of her life. And since my plans are not clear to me or them, I definitely feel out of place. I continue to explore different churches and groups and have found some support amongst those hungry for the Lord and walking in the giftings. Another encouraging word for today!
I moved closer to family just to realize I actually cannot trust them and that I'm not wanted just for who I'm am. Bit rather to be criticised and backatabbed once again just because I don't act and live like they think I should. Reason being a person just decides to accept that Jesus loves you and the rest doesn't matter. The only real family I have are my children and friends who became my family. I’m literally still lying in bed right now cause I don’t want to go to church. Been battling spiritual warfare for the past 3 months. I’ve been praying to God for community. The people I go to Church with are good people. Great people actually, but we just go to church together. That’s not real community. I want to be around people I can do life with outside of Church. So, I’ve been thinking all week about maybe joining another church. I just feel so drained there sometimes. Bless God for you Alwyn.

The pastor and ppl are great, but i don’t feel the fire there like i feel in my truck while praising God. i feel like i’m just going through the motions at church. I hadn’t gone much lately and have been crying out to God, “Where should i go? Where do you want me??” I went to church today and then came home and heard this message. Hi Shain, many years ago I was in a church that took advantage of me by giving me more and more duties. It was unbearable because no one wanted to help me organize any of the social programs in the church. I was exhausted and left. But before I did I sat down with my pastor and told him I am exhausted and I need rest. He told me before leaving to get myself in another church immediately because what Satan will do will put distance between you and the Church, the Body of Christ. Then you will lose your desire to go at all. You cannot be victorious as a single lone Christian. Its like taking one piece of coal and taking it out of the other hot coals that are making a fire. The one piece of coal will become cold on its own. Then it becomes a piece of charcoal AGAIN. The same will happen to you outside the body of Christ. You need to be with other likeminded believers. Being alone is exactly where Satan wants you because he will devour you and take you out easily.
Oh, Alwyn, you are so on point it's right from God. I'm answering all you have just said 1. My own husband won't accept my faith. He just scoffs at me. 2, The enemy is constantly after me. 3. I'm staying in my own community. 4. They are my church family. 5. GOD has sent me to other places. I and 4 other Christians spent 6 days teaching age appropriate bible events to just under 1000 children in rotation. 6. I can't even believe what I'm about to write, Alwyn. I'm 70 years old, and on Monday, tomorrow, I start my bible class, so I and my grandson Uriel will be confirmed in the church of England on 1st December. Praise God. Every single word you have spoken is absolutely what has happened, and even more to me. Thank you Alwyn, sometimes like all people living in faith, we do suffer Satan's attacks. I am a persecuted Christian from Thailand more 20 years now, I have to move house very often because of persecution and i move everywhere already in Thai, however, I only move when God tell me to move to other place, as I pray and seek God's approval only as Jesus lead me every step and I just obey Jesus and go where He sent. God is the One who told me so many times to move out from my country to other country where God told me to go. As Christian We must seek God's approval only Only, God know His plan for us only God knows where HE WANT TO SEND US TO. spend alone time with Jesus sit at His feet, seek to listen and obey Jesus's voice and do what He tells us to do and we must go where Jesus tell us to go, even Christian not agree with you. A disciple of Jesus will 9nly Seek to obey God not fallible men and women of God. Jesus said, when they persecute you in this city/ country flee to another.
I agree. And, I'm praying for you and the persecuted Christians in your and other countries. We don't even understand what real persecution is, here where I live. Not that long ago, Christians were giving their lives for the faith here as well.. we just had another martyr from the Communist time (died in 1960s) officially declared a Blessed recently. I have experienced the exact same thing. I started having prophetic dreams at the beginning of Covid. God has had me give prophetic words to people. The way they receive me and what I’m saying was a surprise. People who call themselves Christians but don’t want to know what God is saying/doing. People don’t believe me. I’ve been laughed at. People get angry and accuse me of thinking I’m better than them. My family thought I’d lost my mind- hearing voices and all. It’s been frustrating to say the least. I didn’t understand what was happening at first and nobody would help me learn. It has brought me so much closer to Jesus because he is the only one I can talk to about any of it. Now he is sending me out to minister to people who aren’t in my community.
I know how it feels brethren. God's Love is The Greatest. Sometimes rejection pushes one close to God. Our Lord Jesus went through the worst for us, so rejection, persecution is under our feet. Keep on keeping on. God's Mighty Hand is upon you. Thank God for prophet Alwyn is praying for us.

I pulled into church this morning and before I could even close the car door I received a text from my Mom that my cousin Kim has stage IV breast cancer. It had spread to her spine and she is on her way into surgery to remove the tumor and T5 vertebrae. Please pray for her recovery.

Two weeks ago I was abruptly woken up at 4:44-the morning I was going to have a 5 hour meeting with a pastor in my hometown to tell my testimony. I am in the book of John. I went to John 4:44. Surely a prophet has no honor in his hometown. My testimony is of Jesus. He delivered me in a vision from 20 yrs of near death alcoholism with the words: I gave you that struggle so you would return to me.” Now he speaks. I don’t have a prophetic gifting in the sense I see the future, bit when I am preaching, especially one on one, or even has happened in front of a crowd, the Holy Spirit starts talking. It is not me.
Wow it's 1:45 am here in Tennessee and I can't sleep because of church hurt. God moved me and my family here 2 months ago. Dreams have been off and on all year but have recently kicked into 5-6 dreams a night. I've wondered all year if I was moving toward the gift of prophecy but it seems no one can help me understand all this. I prophesied my grandmother's death and this move in the last 12 months through dreams. I was on the verge of giving up tonight due to church hurt when I was notified of this video.. thank you for this.

WOW...I needed that word. Thankyou. All my life I've been like a square peg in a round hole! I do get SO discouraged and even depressed at times. I'm in the same area now since I was 16. But I LOVE the people and my heart is breaking for them. I pray intercessory prayers often. I have MANY dreams and words. But, yes.. most falls on deaf ears or are laughed at. I'm still writing them down though and praying. God has given me specific words about my STATE! Praise God. I KNOW He's going to do something incredible here. He's going to heal the broken hearted. open the deaf ears and blind eyes, and set the captives FREE. I've felt this since I was a young girl. 🙂

Wow when i received the notification of the word i thought im gonna listen to it later cause im a bit busy this morning that was 2hours ago and man im regret it not listening to it early cause i went into a conversation some asked me a question and after i answered and so this was not the anwer the person wanted to here cause i just brought a verse into my answer and it was like i was saying the wrong things and this is someonr close to me. And i felt a bit alone cause sometimes its like nobody understands me and this came to mind that there will be people that wont accept your words or your answer cause of who they think you are. I had a spiritual awakening during covid and then last year I started hearing from Jesus again. True story about a prophet isn't accepted in his / her own community. People who knew me from church days when I was a little kid told me I was possessed. I'm not back home in SA, so probably greatful for that. I'm in UK, church hurt is very real, thank goodness I have had 3 years of getting over it. Stay on the path. I believe I may be moving in the Spirit or ABBA Father is sending me somewhere else to live. Walk past a certain building a lot, last week I read the house name and it said "packing house". Felt in my spirit to "take note". Don't give up. ABBA FATHER gave me the same scripture about leave your gift, if they don't accept it turn around and dust your feet off. It was difficult, but do as the Holy Bible says if ABBA Father gives you those words where you hear them and it's a scripture you've never read, take note. Else you'll also get pulled into spiritual warefare I believe. We have 2 pray for them to also start to overcome various things.

I pulled into church this morning and before I could even close the car door I received a text from my Mom that my cousin Kim has stage IV breast cancer. It had spread to her spine and she is on her way into surgery to remove the tumor and T5 vertebrae. Please pray for her recovery.

Two weeks ago I was abruptly woken up at 4:44-the morning I was going to have a 5 hour meeting with a pastor in my hometown to tell my testimony. I am in the book of John. I went to John 4:44. Surely a prophet has no honor in his hometown. My testimony is of Jesus. He delivered me in a vision from 20 yrs of near death alcoholism with the words: I gave you that struggle so you would return to me.” Now he speaks. I don’t have a prophetic gifting in the sense I see the future, bit when I am preaching, especially one on one, or even has happened in front of a crowd, the Holy Spirit starts talking. It is not me.

Wow it's 1:45 am here in Tennessee and I can't sleep because of church hurt. God moved me and my family here 2 months ago. Dreams have been off and on all year but have recently kicked into 5-6 dreams a night. I've wondered all year if I was moving toward the gift of prophecy but it seems no one can help me understand all this. I prophesied my grandmother's death and this move in the last 12 months through dreams. I was on the verge of giving up tonight due to church hurt when I was notified of this video.. thank you for this.
rooted in faith. Look online to find how you can be trained in the gift of prophecy. Alwyn went through training like that. Look up "training for the gift of prophecy" I'm sorry for your church hurt. I went through something like that in the summer. but I am in a good church now.

What an awesome word from the Lord. I've been rejected in my home church because the Lord has blessed me with a prophetic gift but it's ok. I still fellowship there, it hurt for a bit but the Spirit reminded me of this verse concerning Jesus and i'm encouraged. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work my Brother. WOW...I needed that word. Thankyou. All my life I've been like a square peg in a round hole! I do get SO discouraged and even depressed at times. I'm in the same area now since I was 16. But I LOVE the people and my heart is breaking for them. I pray intercessory prayers often. I have MANY dreams and words. But, yes.. most falls on deaf ears or are laughed at. I'm still writing them down though and praying. God has given me specific words about my STATE! Praise God. I KNOW He's going to do something incredible here. He's going to heal the broken hearted. open the deaf ears and blind eyes, and set the captives FREE. I've felt this since I was a young girl. 🙂

Wow when i received the notification of the word i thought im gonna listen to it later cause im a bit busy this morning that was 2hours ago and man im regret it not listening to it early cause i went into a conversation some asked me a question and after i answered and so this was not the anwer the person wanted to here cause i just brought a verse into my answer and it was like i was saying the wrong things and this is someonr close to me. And i felt a bit alone cause sometimes its like nobody understands me and this came to mind that there will be people that wont accept your words or your answer cause of who they think you are. So listening to this word now is just comforting to me. God bless you all

I had a spiritual awakening during covid and then last year I started hearing from Jesus again. True story about a prophet isn't accepted in his / her own community. People who knew me from church days when I was a little kid told me I was possessed. I'm not back home in SA, so probably greatful for that. I'm in UK, church hurt is very real, thank goodness I have had 3 years of getting over it. Stay on the path. I believe I may be moving in the Spirit or ABBA Father is sending me somewhere else to live. Walk past a certain building a lot, last week I read the house name and it said "packing house". Felt in my spirit to "take note". Don't give up. ABBA FATHER gave me the same scripture about leave your gift, if they don't accept it turn around and dust your feet off. It was difficult, but do as the Holy Bible says if ABBA Father gives you those words where you hear them and it's a scripture you've never read, take note. Else you'll also get pulled into spiritual warefare I believe. We have 2 pray for them to also start to overcome various things.
