Been using many of these tips for years. Glad your spreading the word for others. These tips save money and are easy to do. 👌🏻
Was born afterworld War II. Not much was available due the Country being destroyed. I grew up being frugal . I used it throughout my life and it paid off
Expensive tomato soup
I had to laugh at the tomato soup hack. My dad would do that...he loved it. It wouldn't be as frugal these days.
Leave the skins on the potatoes & eat them. They are the most nutritous part.
I’ve been cooking for 58 years, have never removed skin from a potato. It’s the best part, roasted, boiled, mashed or potato salad the skins are the best.
Pesticides on the skins 🫣
Crush clam shells to feed your chickens; you'll get tougher egg shells(from the calcium). (A very freshly-laid egg has a soft shell, till it cools). *I make face cloths from cut old towels. And wipe rags for grease etc from old socks
Great ideas! I already do most of them and it has really helped my budget.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job ❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
My Mom used to make syrup from brown sugar and water , !!!!!!?
It would be cheaper to buy tomato soup or tinned tomatoes rather than ketchup.
You can also use tomato sauce. Adding basil adds flavor
I know! A can of tomatoes, water, seasoning, and some kind of thickener is all tomato soup is anyway.
Old midwives used to suggest cabbage leaves for swollen breasts.
It really helps with mastitis
It's also good for congestion 😊
I canned my own tomato juice, beans, corn, beets. Even pickles corn. Almost ready to can some sour kraut. Those in the store have sugar in it. Why, what part of sour do they not understand..
❤❤❤❤❤
I have never heard of my grandmother's doing any of that and some are just ridiculous!!😅😂😅
More likely your Great Grandmother did these things.
Blessings
I was a premie born in the 50's. My mom used white handkerchiefs for my diapers, lol. No pampers back then, lol
You can use your crushed eggshells in your garden also, or feed them back to your chickens. They need to replace their calcium too.
Erm the soup your showing had lumps in..not just sauce and water
Thanks for noticing, sorry about that! But I hope you get the point, will do better on my next uploads! ;)
Love to see them show the food they're talking about.
I like these hacks but I think you should have told us what pine trees were are good for tea
Everyone knows tomato soup is equal parts tomato sauce and milk with basil.
They do?
Not everyone knows this.
not costly because you would have thrown out nut shells
Recent studies have shown that pine needles store PFAS chemicals, so maybe skip the pine needle tea. Probably tastes terrible anyway.
Chlorine in tap water removes clothing colors! Agitator bars over stretch fabrics in reg washing machines. Dryers are the worst for clothes damage and cost the most $ to use after AC and refrigerators. Hang clothes to dry them.
Expensive mulch!
You mean the nut shells? It's Free!
😍
I wash my clothes after wearing. My clothes is lasting forever.
and add maple flavoring to make syrup. i didn’t taste real maple syrup until i was an adult. beats kari which rest poor we’re using. and way better.
Lol!!! I'm 70 & don't recall Ever having "real" maple syrup!
@@pamh.5705 I must be lucky then, because I am 74 and have grown up with a pitcher of real maple syrup on the table every day. I often bake with it. My grandfather used to pour it over his entire dinners ...meat, veggies and potatoes.
@@Msham420was he diabetic?
@@user-wh9gh6zb6w No he wasn't diabetic. He was a blacksmith, worked hard all his life and died with every one of his teeth still intact .
At least lie well!
Don't show footage of completely different ingredients to tomato soup!
Lolol!!!
Just saved some time.
Out of here.
