Used to stay up flipping tapes over all night for the hardcore sets on Luv NRG. Had a red Spin Inn bag full of tapes. Went uni in my 30's as a mature student an think my stepdad launched em all out. Gutted.

Spinn Inn hol up who remembers when Stu Allen was a Don before he sold the f out to the hard House crowd. I remember I was 13 I caught 2 buses to watch Eric B and Rakim in international 2. I was the only kid who didn't get steamed in that queue purely through luck ( I only had bus fare to get home)

Yes, but confusingly I think there were 2 different Devious Ds - the Ragga Beats guy was Devious Devon - but I think there is another one - I heard some music by "Devious D" that bore no resemblance to the Ragga Beats guy but years and years ago. BTW apparently Devon has all the tapes of the RB broadcasts - I used to know Krystalize a bit - wish he'd put them all online as glorious music and a mad, beautiful hazy time in S.Mancester at the time. Hope you enjoyed the music anyway! Ibbo
