Oceania Institute Launch Event Recording

Australia shares responsibility for the challenges facing the people, lands and seas of Oceania, which are disproportionately impacted by rising sea levels, geopolitical tensions, access to quality health care and education, and growing socio-economic inequality.
The Oceania Institute at the University of Melbourne has been established to enhance connection and collaboration between the University and the people and institutions throughout this region.
The launch event included a keynote by Sir Collin Tukuitonga, a panel on Strengthening health research in Oceania with Sir Colin, Lau Dr. Viliamu Iese and Professor Fiona Russell, and a special performance by the Niuean Community Choir.
