All right. Thanks for putting the video up. I have just changed it but it's loud powering on but I've just got the white the Wi-Fi flashing and it's not letting me reset it. Can you help me please?
There is a very good chance that is the issue, but also check the power supply and when installing these chips make sure to use heat tape around as the resistors near by may fly off. Take a before and after photo just to make sure. Also do not heat the chips too long or they will fail.
I replaced both my IC chips (even though only the U1401 was blown) and the unit switches on again, but only for 2 minutes then its dead.. sort of goes into protection mode.. have to wait about 10 minutes and the same happens all over again.. Would you perhaps have an idea what might cause that? It is as if when it gets hot it shuts itself down
Thankyou for your comment, where did you buy the chips from ? You have bought the wrong ones. Fake most likely or you have heated the chip too long. Buy from here mou.sr/3VR6MtN
@@thespecialist786 Got them on Amazon, as they are not available in South Africa at all. I had someone who fixes electronics put them in. I also asked another UA-camr about the chips, as he also repairs these spesific soundbars, and he gave me the link for Amazon. He gets all his chips from there and never had any issue. If i may ask, what do you mean by "heated too long".. I'm not tech savvy, so maybe i can inform this guy who is fixing my soundbar to just check on that
Thanks for the video. I have the same issue, same sound bar. If I need to order a new chip where do I get one from? I searched for the chip numbers from this video, but I couldn't find one with exactly the same numbers. I haven't opened mine up yet so I don't know if the chips are exactly the same. Cheers John
There are so many fake and different chips around - I will post the link in my Description shortly. Please subscribe to my channel. You need TPS54335 Switching Voltage Regulator 4.5 - 28v Input 3A
You are brilliant my friend!! I will order a few of these. Such an easy fix. I hate wasting electronics, its horrible for the environment.

Check you have not blow away any resistors next to the chip. Also check power supply.
Thank you for doing this video. I have just ordered both chips however neither are showing any burn marks so hoping this is the same fault. :-)
