Dude... I'm new to this and it's hard to get my boss to assist me. I youtubed this shit and found your video. I must say. I'm a pro now. I'm teaching the new guys. Thanks man.
@@ElectricianToolDeals Thanks. It's always nice to see a trades guy in action. ps. After looking at the electrical codes and what it takes to become an electrician, wauw, this profession is so easily underestimated!
@@ElectricianToolDeals That is why my 17 year old son is excited to get into the electrical & HVAC trades when he graduates next may versus his sister who is in her 3rd year of medical school and in debt. lol Great video, btw.
@avguytx4361 med school I don't consider to be a scam, but most bachelor's degrees are. Every young man that comes to work for us says after 4 years they are so far ahead of their friends that went to college it's crazy.
I agree that's the fastest way. Nothing is worse than climbing to the top of a building then having to climb all the way back down to get a saw. This is just another tool in your arsenal.
Thanks for the vid. This is a tip that I didn't even think I needed. Appreciate the info!
Your very welcome. Thanks for the comment!

Milwaukee makes a flex cutter its really handy for this and quick to use you should look into it
I just looked it up but I couldn't find anything. Can you give me the actual name

nice thank you!
Your very welcome.
Can you use bandsaw
Yep you sure can. This method is for when you don't have or want to carry a lot of tools. Thanks for the comment.
So, that half inch cut into the sheathing is not a problem?
Nope, the connector throat will cover it and make it smooth. Thanks for the comment!

@Antiorganizer We need electricians everywhere. If you do an apprenticeship you could be licensed in as little as 4 years with no college debt.

Good to know in case I don’t have a band saw around
Thanks for the comment. Have a Great Day.
band saw

I find its much easier with a porta ban 12-14 tpi blade
That is true. This is a method for when the saw isn't handy or you forgot the saw.
Use a PEX cutter, it's much easier.
Thanks for the comment.
would that cut through the metal part though? I doubt it.
Shiddd I just use an ole sawsaw.
Jigsaw or portable band saw works better imo
