Gary, you have saved us from insanity.. we have one that we don't remember the code for, the previous owner wrote it down and I lost it over 10 years ago. Today it went crazy and started squealing and my attempts to try to shut it down made it worse and got all sorts of fault lights and the outsude alarm went off... your video allowed me to bring peace to the house and neighborhood again after 45 minutes chaos.. with no solution in sight. I thank you!!
Hi Garry please can you help me, when I came in and went to turn of the alarm , the panel started flashing and making a noise all lights are on and I am unable to press the buttons they seem to not want to work. I switch the alarm of from the main circuit board , but this is linked with my up stairs lights , If I turn back on the alarm is showing all lights as solid and then starts sounding again in and outside of the house
Hello I have a Paragon Plus and discovered the panel battery was defective as was one of the small batteries in the external sounder. I have replace the panel battery and both sounder batteries. Unarmed the panel shows two lights, supply and day. When armed however it goes into alarm mode i.e. It displays supply and day lights + flashing alarm and tamper lights. Can you offer any advice. Hello, we have an alarm system that uses a Pyronix Pargaon RKP remote keypad. Even when our alarm isn't set the upstairs remote keypad sometimes randomly for no reason sounds the 3 note noise internal alarm as if a tamper warning has gone off. The alarm isn't set and no warning lights show on the keypad. The only 2 lights that are green and on are Supply and Day. I took off the cover and it was quite dusty inside so I cleaned it out and since then over a 2 day period we have heard it once randomly go off for no reason. I'm not sure if you have heard of this fault before or might know a simple way to stop it from happening? Many thanks Rob
I,m so sorry for the long delay in getting back to you its quite an old system now and although I remember some things not quite sure about this other than is it the battery backup or service timer. hope this helps
Sir, please, please help me on this , my pyronix paragon E purgler alarm which was installed in 1995; the previous owner gave me the master code in 2005 when i bought the house and i used , NOW I FORGOT THAT CODE NUMBER. How can i find the old code, or set with new code which ever is possible. The problem started , in 2007 when i went on holidays and gave the house key to a friend, and when i returned the Tamper red light was on and when i wanted to clear...i messed up with Code number and eventually confused and forgot the code number altogether.After watching your video, i tried to hold down 41 in the keyboard and reconnect the power suply...nothing happend, still sounding alarm. So, i cut the power supply again to stop the alarm sound. IF YOU CAN GIVE ME SOME IDEA, THEN START USING THIS PARAGON E ALARM SYSTEM. Thank yoy, sir, please advise.
