Love how you used different fabric for the face because sharks don’t have fur, I really love when people used different fabric and mats for stuff. Like Using star images on fabric to use for paw pads ect. It’s so fun to explore all the different types of fabrics or materials you can use for costumes. Different textures can represent different things.
@꧁𖣔vMoon𖣔꧂ I meant you know, like different materials than just fur, I’m dumb sorry.
Ikr!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for putting this video together. I'm working on my first suit from a 3d base and I wanted a moving jaw. I was not expecting to run into to so many questions, challenges, and difficulties. Especially, ESPECIALLY, with lining the inside. I almost said screw it and went with no lining because I couldn't figure out the best way to do the top and the bottom in one go. Truly has been on of my biggest challenges, but seeing you do it has really helped out.
Anyways, you're a hero to me, at this point!! Maybe someday I will be a fraction as incredible at this stuff as you and the other wonderful makers. Couldn't have done it without the tutorials and knowledge you all so graciously share with us all.
This really proves how creative furries have to be. They also have a lot of talent! To be able to sew and make the base of the head is very difficult. People who are able to do that are very talented.
I would love to see a tutorial of all the tools you used to model the heads in blender.
I'm a beginner and still needs to learn a lot more, so it's best if you research regular Blender tutorials instead
try this ua-cam.com/video/yXKxWhy835U/v-deo.html
@@MugiwaraCosplay Beginner?? Holy moly-you made that good of a model and you call yourself a beginner?? I've been using Blender for months now, and I couldn't get anywhere near that good of a model :') It looks amazing! And so does the entire thing, ahhh I'm so jealous of your skills X3
Edit: Don't mind me, just freaking out over a fursuit head lmao
I really enjoy this video because I know it's just them showing how they made these heads (which are awesome). But it also helps me have a reference somwhat on how to go about doing a character that has no Fur. ❤ 😊👍👍

This was very straightforward! I'm planning on making a TMNT cosplay with your shark base, and this video is a literal lifesaver for a first-time suiter. Will update!
I am amazed on how you do this. It's so cool! =D
I’d love a detailed tutorial on how to weft hair like that, looks simpler than making a bunch of individual wefts
I linked to Kazplay's tutorial in the description
Beautiful work as always!
Amazing work! That wig assembly must have taken hours!
Thank you for sharing your videos with all of us. 😸
you're literally so talented what
I am trying this method as well. For some reason I am struggling to model the eyes. I am trying different methods like booleans to cut the eyes out of the mesh. I am sure that with enough practice, I can get it right. Yours looks great, so I am pretty excited to make a suit with this method
I’m curious about this too. If I figure it out I’ll try to get back to you!
The boolean method is the one I’ve seen most people use, there are some tutorials on yt specifically for fursuit headbases on blender
Your suits never fail to amaze me!
Finally! My search is over. Thank you for the video! You helped me so much
Can you make a tutorial on how to make perfectly fittinf eyeblanks for 3D Models?
wow this fursuit is magnificent, you are amazing mugiwara.
Amazing work. I always learn new techniques when watching your videos.
This would hav been very helpful my first time working with a 3D printed Base
This is so underrated
just realized that printing the heads are supposed to be way bigger than what I'm doing oops. I love how the thick the layers and I love these videos
I'm gonna make a koilagon costume out of felt and the same stuffing that you can buy at Walmart that's used for pillows and stuffed animals
ooohhhhh this is very cool
When cutting the fur, do you have to cut it at some sort of an angle?
That is awesome! but how long did it take to make that? and also how are you so good at making masks?
So cool...
You wouldn’t happen to know where I can get a digital bust like the one you were using for sculpting?
I found it on Thingiverse
what type of fur did you use on the faces? i don't think i've ever seen faux fur with that short and smooth texture before
It's japanese stretch fur (link in description), but it's very difficult to work with
@@MugiwaraCosplayDo you mind explaining why it’s difficult to work with?
Amazing 💜
Nice!
Do you ever do custom print-at-home bases?
I have a question! For the liner you used to put in the inside of the mask, the black fabric, how did you get the teeth through it? So you could sew it to the mouth? And how do u make the magnets for the eyebrows not show?
I cut holes. For the eyebrows? There are no magnets on the eyebrows
@@MugiwaraCosplayright sorry! One more question! What is the main fabric you used for the face? The grey fur?
How do you get it to have the proper fit? I would love to see a detailed tutorial on padding and proper strap placement. the 3d printed base I have doesn't have the slots to run the elastic through, frustratingly enough...
Really cool video! Just a question, what 3D printer did you use for this?
Creality CR 10 Max and Prusa i3 MK3S+
Full list if tools and materials is also in the description
what 3d printer is that?
How do you get the model to the correct thickness in all places? Im working on modelin a base and I’m struggling (i use a program called nomadsculpt)
I use Blender so can only answer for that. I use the solidify modifier
@@MugiwaraCosplay that helps, thank you :)
What type of fabric did you use for the face? I’m hoping to make animatronic themed fursuit head!
Stretchy fake fur
@@MugiwaraCosplay okay thanks! Was the fur already pre cut or did you shave it manually?
It was that short already when I got it
@@MugiwaraCosplay alright! Thank you for your help!! ♥️
true 🦈🧠👈 its perfect
where would you recommend placing the holes for ventilation in the heads? ive done quite a few 3d printed heads but they tend to overheat as i dont add holes
Anywhere where they wouldn't affect the face/muzzle shape. I don't know how to explain it text but mostly where you see them in the video
What app did u use for 3d printing
I didn't use an app. It's Blender for pc
A question: I have been looking at the Manokit head on youre Etsy shop and im wondering if you get the whole head or just the template?
It's a template/pattern. There are no physical items on my Etsy
I only used foam for mine lmao
Hey how do you get the plastic wrap to stick and stay while you tape??? I’m trying to do this for my 3d head and it just never seems to work I tried without the plastic but then my masking tape just gets stuck pretty good to the mask itself making cutting so difficult
Pin needles
Cool vid but it didnt help me much, i have a problem and i dont know what's wrong, every time i try to hot glue smth to 3d printed base the glue doesn't stick to the base :/
Try scoring the base, aka making a series of scratches in the 3d printed material so it gives something for the glue to stick to. Hope this helps (ik this is an old comment but still)
@@noodlynoodle tysm 🫶
Is it okay to make pattern for the fur with mouth closed? Mine headbase has the same type of hinges, but im not sure
Not if your base has a moving jaw. If there are no extra fur at the mouth corners then the mouth will not be able to open
What printer do you use? I want to get into fursuit making but I don’t know the right printers for fursuit heads
Creality cr-10 max for head bases
@@MugiwaraCosplay Okay, thanks
can you do a video on how to add the back i dont understand cause i wanna buy one but i dont know how to add the back
But it shows in the video, it gets sewn on
@@MugiwaraCosplay so is it just the fur? also i really love your videos!
Yes
That is a very thick print of the base, how heavy is it?
It is? I didn't weight the base before furring, but it's lighter than my resin skull head, so not too heavy
@@MugiwaraCosplay Ah I also just looked back at the footage and saw that it wasn't a solid fill interior so that would help a lot. Thanks for the response!
what is the support type you used to print the base? cross?
I just used default settings (I don't know the different support types)
Do you take commissions for Fursute parcels
Yes, but I'm closed at the moment
What's the difference between the Prusa and Ender?
The brand maybe? I don't know. I don't own an Ender so can't say anything about it
Did you 3d print the teeth for the head?
Yes
@@MugiwaraCosplay will you have a print available to sell or anything thay look so nice in the vid 😀 😊 😄
It's a very bad print file so it's not included in the paid head base model. It's instead on my discord server for free
@@MugiwaraCosplay sweet ty 😁😁😁
With a 3d printer and a modeling program
UOY CUTE❤❤❤
Plase anubis🥹
??
Ummm will u be making fur suits next year ?
Yes
@@MugiwaraCosplay thanks
That’s supposed to be a shark? That looks nothing like a shark with the ears and stuff
Please google furry shark. It's not a realistic one
Hey can you make me a fuzzle wuzzle fursuit
And what is that?
It's my UA-cam channel profile
Can you please make me a first suit and please do not make it for like 1000 or 2000 3000 and $30,000 I don't have that kind of money
Then you have to look for another maker sorry
Hey can you make me a fuzzle wuzzle fursuit please
fuzzle wuzzle?
Yes it's a fursuit
Text me on messenger I have a picture of the fursuit that I want you to make
It's name on a character or?
