Thank you for showing us these museums. I don't think I will ever get to Oslo, but I will look up some of the collections - especially yours at the National Museum - on the Internet.
Hi guys! Really enjoying the places you have taken us to in Oslo ( and elsewhere!) over the past several weeks. I’m enjoying all of it ! Thank you . Very Informative and interesting . Educational ! And pretty ! I do love visiting museums. ❤xx
When I took my first cruise with you two in 2022. I came a few days early so I could explore Oslo and one of the places I visited was the Munch museum. I love art and art museums so really enjoyed the Munch museum. . I hope to take one of your garden tours in 2025. I hope you have one to Italy. It's on my bucket list to go to Italy. Love you both! Toni
UA-cam has changed its interface. I had a hard time figuring out how to leave a comment... Again, love getting more information about Norway. It is definitely on my bucket list one day. Hope I make it. Would love to accompany you on one of your crusies.
There is so much to see in Norway! We are definitely coming back soon. On our first trip, we had only one full day in Oslo, so we couldn’t get to all museums. Thank you, again and again, for being the best ambassadors for your country! ❤❤ from Canada.
An outstanding building , isn’t it. I can’t believe how nice the munch museum is. Bet that took some building.. Carlos your. Dry good with your pronunciation of different areas and cities. Thanks for sharing,
My sister, daughter, and I spent a day in Oslo 2 years ago before starting our adventure traveling through Sweden. We went to a museum, and saw a version of “the scream” and a botanical garden. If we ever go to Oslo again, I’ll have a list of what else to see. Thanks! My mom’s grandparents were born in Sweden, but then emigrated to America.
I still hope to get to Norway before I die. Oslo for sure and Bergen but also to the island my great grandparents came from. Thank you for the suggestions.
Hi Esther, It would be nice to meet you in Los Altos. My husband Tim and I will be there from Seattle so any local recommendations would be much appreciated. Have a great week. Shirley
Happy Sunday! The museum sounds like a lovely place to SAKFAB! Crazy weather here in Central VA, 80° for highs this coming week! Have a blessed week, hugs for Freja! ❤😘
6:20 Not entirely sure, but by your finger novements I'd say maybe cove or inlet? A peninsula is a landmass that sticks out on its own (like Norway itself, Korea, or the Wirrel in England or Cornwall). A spit of land connects an island to a mainland via a very flat connective bit of land (like Llandudno in Wales). Trying to help, but no idea either 😂
I should’ve arrived a day earlier before the cruise to have time to visit more places. Oh well, there’s always next time! I just had a visit from Cynthia and Art. It always delights me to see Carlos wearing the scarf that she made for him ❤
Before leaving Oslo for your cruise, we had lunch at the Minch Museum. I thought we were going to get time to visit, but that was not included. Very disappointing.
I have to say I didn’t care for the Munch Museum. I had only been familiar with The Scream (in its variations), when I spent a few hours at the museum I discovered I don’t really like most of his other works. Just not my thing…I didn’t connect with it. Too bad I didn’t have time to get to the national museum. I would recommend the Norwegian Folk Museum. I really love folk crafts, folk art and to see how people used to live. It is a bit out of the way to get to, though.
❤ love the tour of top Oslo museums. We must go one day!
Thank you for showing some of your favorites to see in Oslo.

Then you must have been to the old Munch museum, that was close to the Botanical gardens😍

Beautiful buildings! Is there a history/archeology museum in Oslo? That's my favorite way to spend museum days!
There is a history museum, but the Nationalmuseum also has cultural history section.
So many museums, so little time! 😂
Thanks for the great insight into just a few of the things that your beautiful hometown has to offer 🩵
Love the architecture especially the Munch Museum it reminds me of an accordion.

The wonderful Munch Museum was a favorite when I visited beautiful Oslo. What a prolific artist and such a variety of subjects. ❤
