Absolutely love this song! It's completely different from anything by Elbow, yet the voice is so powerful and familiar. Seriously cannot wait for the rest of the album to drop! Great work as ever Guy!

Remotely reminds me of some of Fela's songs... certainly has that rhythm that makes your waist twist.
This is such a refreshing change. There's so many songs doing the rounds that are sappy, crappy and over indulgent. This has edge. It sounds like it came out of an old Michael Cane movie or a film about London gangsters. Brilliant. Would-be song writers please take note.

Agree, it's different and refreshing from what Elbow produced lately. Though I am the biggest Elbow fan on earth, I am hoping Elbow will return to their original sound, more indie rock; less soft pop music. This solo project of one of the most beautiful voices on earth makes me hopeful...

I love Elbow and have seen them many times live. For me, Guy Garvey has always been the refreshing talent who sets them apart. This track and all of his solo music blows me away.
