Just because people rolling around doing buffball in normals is more cringe doesn't make giga bullying naked timmies whilst claiming to be rank 1 rogue and flaming them for having full time jobs a good thing. Yes its lesser of an evil but still the same shit, and its not even his fault this is the game they put in front of him, hes playing it. Can't blame him, but you can't blame us for thinking its cringe either to be fair. Even the bad comments are good comments so he'll live ;) Just wish I could understand how this game works too :(

Some things are clear the Devs never played D&D because all characters are maxed out at the start. The perks are insane. The game is no longer a dungeon crawl for fun and adventure it is just a PvP game with the ones with the best gear usually win. This will kill the game because sweaty fucking nerds with rule the game and no one will enjoy it.
I used to try to give leeway to the devs thinking they were a newer development team, game is in EA blah blah... but some of the decisions they have made recently lead me to question how these dev meetings actually go and what sense of game design they have.
I'm a brand new player as of this week and I felt like solo play was possible, but I've actually yet to have any fun in about 25 hours. It was a good session of learning to fight the ai and how to be sneaky, which was enjoyable while it was new...
Getting fucking obliterated by everything is fun for a bit when you're learning, but when you realize it doesn't matter and you will just be 1 tapped, I'm not putting in hundreds of hours to master the art of "having better gear" lmao
Game is turning into a WOW style mmo instead of a "ya win some, you lose some everybody explodes" fun I thought I was getting into like tarkov.

@@TouchGrass297the hitbox matches the character model, so its nigh impossible to headshot them from behind, thats why devs are testing creative ways to balance that (they cant wear helmets) so they can eventually make more boldly differing hitboxed fantasy characters, such as dwarf

Anyone else get the bug that separates you from your team when loading into a game where everyone on your team ends up as a solo in the same lobby? Happened to me earlier and I ended up dying after going in with all my best gear. Made me not want to play anymore
I got that but they joined solo version, sucks but a wipe in a week anyway

he cheats he uses esp. he deliberately cuts his clips. no visual or audio cues for half of his kills. he knows where people are, where they are going, and cuts them off by the zone.

@@SlayersSquad Dude is showing 0 skill. Anyone with BiS or near BiS can kill base gear to near base gear people, when this guy can do it in HR against other appropriately geared teams, then and only then will I be impressed. For now, this is just sad.

Man has killed 20 people in the first 5 minutes of the video! its just fully unlucky and entirely not his fault that after running into 20 people not a single one of them was a caped gamer... unlucky at best. about the bug, idk how or what i did, but one time i managed to get into hr with 2 teammates under lv 15 back when hr had 0 cost

How come no +2 weapon damage lantern? I can see it making solo's more difficult because you'd have to unsheathe the rapier in hide plus waste a second of shadow runner.
The higher end of rogue is notably better but at early to mid game it's definitely rough in gc. There's been a lot of slayer fighters and barbarians and it doesn't take much for them to chase rogues down with sprint and war cry. In a vacuum rogues aren't bad, but things like barbarian buffs and slayer fighter popularity outweigh that significantly.
As a rogue main I've been trying slayer fighter and its actually busted. With crossbow and 2 hitting rogues its impossible to die unless it's by another crossbow fighter
You're acting like a rogue should stand a chance against an equally geared fighter. You shouldn't. You should die everytime. Classes have their counter, and fighters/barbs are rogues
@@guildwars8889 plate fighter kind of shits on slayer fighter tho. I watched a fight go down between a kitted slayer fighter and plate fighter with a legendary long sword and the plate fighter shit on the bloke which ended up being good for me because plate is weak against wizard

How do you not get the screen effect when you drink the ales?
I turned all my settings to minimum and now the ale effect pretty much doesn't exist. There is probably a specific setting, but turning all of the visual effects down does it.

Don't take it too personally brother, just when you go around shouting "I'm rank 1 rogue!!!" then post videos like this people lose interest.. maybe just me I dunno. I don't expect you to go 1v3 high roller and risk your kit to look better, thats silly. Just as I said before it's weird to post clips throwing knives worth more than peoples banks and shouting "im rank 1 rogue in the worlddddd" surely there is better clips somewhere... maybe I'll check the last 3 vids and get past the 5 minute mark. But lately its been tougher and tougher. Just being honest! I do still appreciate the informative/tutorial style vids though :) At least you do teach the timmies if they are willing to learn as well xD

Can you explain the "always jump before using utility items"? What does it mechanically do?
you keep all speed momentum up until the point you land, so it cuts down the time it slows you down while consuming the potion
It doesn't work with weapons anymore though does it? I tried testing this as barb with felling\warmaul

So you do more damage the more % damage zou have or is still 1 aditional damage better ?
i have found out that % dmg + is about 0.8 pure dmg pr 1%, true dmg is 1 dmg pr 1, and 1 weapon dmg is about 1.25 :)
Please don't forget not everyone has legendary weapons

Cleanse removes debuffs not buffs and yes cut throat removes ALL abilities/spells/buffs
I love you Brad and this is not a slight against you but it genuinely makes me worry about the future of the game to see videos like this. It's pretty boring to watch you 1-2 shot timmies for 20 minutes but I also know that's the game because that's what I do all day as well. Every time we go into HR it's dead AF and it's RNG on if my team gets a favorable zone to do boss (and make it out with profit) because we're not the best team. Even with hitting the pile we average ~100-200g profit after the ante unless we find some godly gear to sell; but the economy is dead right now so that's difficult. There's less than 100 people per trading hall all day so it's hard to make worthwhile profit after the fee.
Then again, I can run my 70% PDR cleric in goblin caves and make it out with 300g and a chance at a troll pelt every game while being an unkillable walking tank with holy strike. I try to be friendly with people that have no gear because I know how un-fair that can feel. The devs need to find some way to bridge the gap and give timmies a way to slowly build up loot, maybe a safe pocket like Tarkov/The Cycle or some form of insurance so they don't lose the greens/blues that people like you leave on the floor.
As it should, this next update needs to be a big one.

@bradquackson I actually started using poison blade and cut throat. It is working way better than I thought it would.
Just out of hide and 50% buff, silence and hit for 3-4x. If they're not plate fighters, just kite after and throwing knives or poke one or two more times.

Also, the amount of players crying in the comments about him going in geared is absolutely wild lol. There really isn’t that much of a difference between a purp and legendary wep except for 1-2 more dmg and another perk ( 1 perk is usually bad on a Lego anyways ) just bring in some gear instead of letting it sit in your bank until wipe!

I get that HR is kinda dumb atm, but it's not really good content to just see you shitting on timmies with orange gear. The 1v3 makes it somewhat better, but at the same time, they don't really have a chance when pitted up against your skill + your good gear. Personally I'd like to see you in more moderate gear doing 1v3's where you're outskilling them rather than outgearing them.
In general, the game really has a problem with getting people to go into HR, because I see normal lobbies filled with people that aren't even going to find any loot in that lobby because their gear completely outclasses anything they would find. I finally feel like I'm decent at crypts, and now I'm just trying to master hell, but I keep running into overgeared players that I have no chance of beating in normals because of their crazy purple/orange gear.

I think Xon makes a good point about maybe not using giga gear if you're going into normals. Would definitely be more entertaining to see some low gear challenge 1v3 runs where you really have to work for every kill, instead of using demon's glee and a gear set that puts you over 30 str, 140hp, and 310 MS with weapon out while fighting white geared Timmies that don't know which way is up. Not to mention you have a pharmacy in your inventory that's worth more gold than an entire kit for most of these noobies lol.
What's really sad though is that some people who know nothing about game design or balance will watch this and think rogue is broken overpowered, and apparently the list of people who know nothing about game design or balance includes the DnD devs so rogue will probably end up being nerfed again because ultra geared, high skill players can 1v3 noobies and post it to youtube LOL.@@bradquackson

Gear impact is way too large in this game. At this point you should just keep your armor weapons n trinkets on death and lose 25% of gold like borderlands.
That way everybody can get top gear and let skills do the talking.
If apex or fortnight let people walk in with people geared to the tits it would be just like this community, 80% pissed and miserable.
System is conpletely broken.
It is not broken at all, you people are just not used to the concept of "bring what you are willing to risk"
wearing good gear will only benefit you if you are actually a good player, you would have to extract multiple times before breaking even, even if your set only cost like 1k.
People that complain about gear are just bad at the game, to them it sounds like a good excuse.
Getting really good gear is perfectly achievable for anyone, if you are somewhat efficent at ratting (i think the average or below average player can do this) you can make 600-1000g in an hour. Only 1 hour of farming you can get pretty decent gear now, time to roll people if you are confident in your skills.
But you likely won't because you either lack the skill or can't fight through your gearfear.

More skill involved in harassing a buff ball to death with mobs as rogue, and gutting the back line should be easy with your gear, but you go clean up those bambis. Won't have em much longer anyway, enjoy ruining the game.

i believe you are stealthed while silenced, so you can bring out your weapon, you dont gotta remove your booties while stealthed, at least when i tested it with my buddy on ruins when servers were dead i didnt hear him with my sound spiked.

Picked up the game this week to try it out solo. If I wasn't dunked on by a team, it was purple gear, usually both in ruins...
Will probably never play Gear Check: The Game again.
