I love these because it balances out the insanity. When every reviewer goes Gaga over a fragrance I used to think that I can blind buy it safely. Been burned too many times by that. It helps to have even one person say they don’t like it. Because In the end we are all completely unique when it comes to fragrance.

So happy to see someone finally saying the things im thinking 😂. I've ordered so many samples from all the hyped fragrances like line feline and few from ex nihilo And don't like 99% of them 😂. At the same time I'm not basic like a lot of people so yeah 👽.

Si the OG turns from hate to love. I have had my bottle since 2017. I am starting wearing it this summer. My be it works perfectly on my skin in the heat😎
I love this video series, very much needed negative opinions on popular perfumes so we know we're not crazy if we hate them hahaha. I do love some of the perfumes destroyed in this video, but I appreciate SO MUCH the opinion of someone who doesn't like it so I don't overspray o be mindful of others who might be bothered by it. Hahahha this video is funnnnnn! And when you started talking about my holy grail (Portrait of a Lady)... It was even funnier 😂 and that's why I love perfumes so much, they evoke emotions, memories... Good or bad they make an impression and we experience it differently and I usually gravitate to polarising fragrances, they're exciting 😜

Integrity and Honesty in a fragrance reviewer.....how incredibly refreshing! I admire and appreciate the courage you have to actually share your true thoughts. We should be able to do that without having to dodge the haters every single time. I am so over, so many reviewers, because as stated below, we have been lead astray.....the hype, the hype, the hype. Also, I can't agree with your opinion more as to many of the fragrances you mentioned: Lune Feline, Nomade Naturelle, Aventus for her, Pure Poison, Bronze Goddess, Lust in paradise, Wonderland Peony, Armani Is, Bloom...Exactly!!!

I've seen some comments that the fenty smells like kayali's elixir11, I have elixir but I've rated it fairly well, obviously Middle Eastern with a hint of sweet and sour ebony rose. very special but i didn't like that very much, great review by the way you’re killing it🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love your honesty! We should do more videos of what we don’t love besides what we love. 🤓It’s hard though as someone put work and effort in creating it but it’s our opinion not a technical review 😘

i really enjoy these types of videos... just goes to prove how very different perfume can smell to each person. Its also quite funny to watch! I have to say that i agree with you over the Si line with the exception of their Si Intense (2021 version, not the black bottle). That one took me by surprise and has become one of my most adored scents. It also lasts FOREVER on my skin and clothing. But hey, I'm also just one woman :-)
Thank you! Finally someone agrees with me on Pure Poison, I thought I was the only person who couldn’t like this scent. I just don’t get the hype, with the millions of fragrances out there I can pass on Pure Poison.
Anne, I could listen to you talking about ANYTHING and be thoroughly entertained but when we get you unfiltered, because I bet we never get you completely unfiltered (although I yearn for that) I'm in heaven! Im lying here smelling of the heavenly Ylang in Gold thanks to you, appreciating every bit of your quirky sense of humour. You are the only perfume reviewer that I truly appreciate and trust.

These videos always make me nervous 🫣 even filming them myself but you have a polite way of being brutally honest 🥹 And you break it down in such a way that I agree with you, even if I love the scent 😂
I recently starting picking up the freesia note in some of the Si perfumes so I actually decluttered 3 but I will say that since the first one is almost a decade old, most perfumes that smell like it have come after it. I also think they perfected the OG with their latest Intense version, imo of course ❤️

I’ve said it before but I think understanding what a person doesn’t like (and why) is just as (if not more) important than knowing about the likes/loves. I appreciate that you can review fragrances both subjectively with your personal reactions but also share your opinion objectively since everyone is different and will have a different experience of a scent!

To be honest, I don't have too much experience with something changing my opinion that drastically, usuallyyy my opinion stays the same 😝 But I always make a habit to update you guys on my opinions on fragrances, so if there is an exception, I will always mention it :) For example, when I hauled Eau Duelle, I mentioned it was way too green for me years ago, and now it's one of my top favorites 🥰
I'd never buy the perfumes mentioned here because they aren't my vibe but oh girl i love your honesty, keep these videos coming 💙

+1 aventus for her. I am also maschuline leaning unisex lover but this one is straight male for me. I have a dekant and i decided to use it for layering. So for i used it with delina rosee and it worked out.

You are so correct when you say smell is subjective: I used to teach high school so I am familiar with that ‘lynx’ type deodorant smell that teenage boys constantly spray (which is awful) Chanel eau Tendre smells just like that to me!

Aw I like Explicite and Pure Poison but I do enjoy these videos! I don’t even see this as negative, to me it just adds helpful counterpoints. Have you ever done a “re-visiting the classics” type of video? I think it could be fun to get your thoughts on original Poison, Shalimar, No. 5, stuff like that!

Yes!finally someody who agrees with me on Aventus for her! It should be a man scent.i bought a sample and i thought it turned bad but after i tried again in the perfume store and it was the same!i was like 'what on earth'...i hate it🤷🏼♀️ Musc Ravageur is too animalic for me, i sold my bottle.but i love Si Fiori and Lune Feline :)

LOL. I absolutely love Gucci Bloom, I don't mind a stuffy Tuberose bomb. Diptyque Do Son is extremely similar but the younger, less stuffy version. I also was super un-impressed with Creed Aventus for Her. I didn't necessarily find it masculine, but it's definitely BORING. Can't wait to get my hands on Musc Ravageur and find out if I hate it.
Tried Chloe Nomade Absolu, hated the opening (davana?) but loooved the aftermath. Like a creamy, luxurious slightly spicy soap. Those luxe scents in boutique hotels which I love hehe. Any other similar suggestions? 💖

What do you think of Zadig and Voltaire's This Is Her? It's my signature summer scent.
It's been a while since I've smelled it! I remember it being a nice, simple, sandalwood, musk smell. I usually like something a tad more complex, but I have it on my list to revisit soon :)
I’m undecided about the Aventus for her too, I get fruit in it but it’s just takes over and overwhelms me
I love Si fiori, I don’t like the others but I’ve never tried any of the passione line

Yes yes yes! Completely agree on everything that I have smelled. Recently bought a decant of Gucci bloom (always trying to find things that my boyfriend will love. He has slightly less...refined tastes. He would like me to smell like Victoria's Secret body spray 😭) and I hate it so much.

Have you tried Kilian princess or mfk gentle fluidity gold or Initio absolute aphrodisiac(any good vanilla guys that like body sprays seem to like), Simone a leisure in paradise etc my husband who likes body sprays on me(he loves the sol de Janeiro ones and Victoria secret ones lol) but he liked all the fragrances above

I really liked this video. Gucci Bloom - exactly - if you want to smell 20 years older - get Gucci Bloom. Such an old lady scent, ugh. It's so outdated today.
Gucci Bloom... I remember when this first came out they set up a bunch of flowers at the front of the department store and there were two girls and a guy there with perfume bottles spritzing cards and handing them out left, right and center. I gave them a wide, wide berth... Any wider and I would be literally hugging the walls to make my way through the entryway.

I don’t like l'imperatrice 3. It smelled like a fruity cocktail and I just don’t want to smell like that. Sucks bc the bottle is so nice and it’s super affordable. Keep doing videos like this. Super hyped perfumes aren’t always great and it’s nice to see someone be honest about that.

My skin seems to eat up perfumes. Often ones that others don't have issues with. After your comment in this video I wonder if it is a ME thing, specifically related to my connective tissue disorder ehlers danlos syndrome. People with my condition often need alot more anaesthetic for dental procedures. Wonder if someone sciencey might know if there could be a genuine mechanism at play....?

Not offended at all by the reviews. 😄 Sí is my easy reach/signature scent. I have smelled it too on other people and more often than not I DONT LIKE IT 😂 which means Sí is that kind that smells quite different on paper than on different people. Im just really happy that every variation smells good on me and i get loads of compliments from them. Agree on the Gucci Bloom. It smells like a rich and strict grandma.

Hey Anne, just a quick question. Which moisturizer can you recommend? I assume it has to be scentless but i never know which ones to buy,.
My go to is the Lubriderm Daily Moisture Fragrance Free Lotion! But if I want to layer a perfume with a scented lotion, I like the Bath & Body Works Body Creams :)

No problem girl, me neither on Pure Poison. I even hate that smell. It was too baby powdery that stings so bad into my nose and gave me instant headache. Maybe I just don't enjoy white floral in general since the majority of the notes are those type of scent. So yeah, I just dont get the hype either.
Do you have a favorite from Aterlier Des Ors? I tend to have similar experiences with fragrances as you.

Pear&Ambrette/Ambroxan- have you tried Juliette has a gun Pear Inc? One of my top 5 🥰 I haven't smelled God is a Woman, but a lot of people say JHAG is very similar.
Yes! It's SO good!! The scent of Pear Inc. is far superior than God is a Woman imo, but Pear Inc. doesn't last at all on me unfortunately 😭

I totally agree with Creed Aventus for her. I don't get any fruity smell to it a bit citrusy only in the beginning I would say and as it dries down becomes very bitter and masculine. The smell is not femenine at all imo and many male friends of mine don't like it. Portrait of a lady is one of my favourite from my collection but don't like Musc Ravageur. Yes, too much cinnamon and clove. I have a bottle and I'm thinking of selling it.

I don’t get the hype with the Si line either. It’s just so common and unremarkable to me. They don’t smell bad - just so generic, in my opinion.

I agree 100% about Si Line, to me this has no identity trying hard to be.
Also Gucci Bloom..although I love white florals in particular tuberose, but it has be done in a frivolous way (not like Diptyque Do Son for example or Gucci Bloom line). I tried hard with Gucci Bloom but every time I tested it I was seeing extra wrinkles on my face.🤭

I have a love/hate relationship with armani si, sometimes i find it just too heavy and thick, other times i find it irresistible .. so strange
