I think im going to do this but use a micro cord in the middle like the sanctified after its done to cover up the gaps

Hi Jack, yes a majority of the projects use 550, if I am using a different type of cord, it will be noted in the measurements.

thanks, just bought some 275 Nylon/Nylon for a project. I think my issue was that i was using a stiffer polyester cord.

agnes elena you could very well use a buckle that only has 16mm. Oh yes, you could do that. Or it could go horribly and irrevocably wrong and you'll never be able to weave paracord again. Ever. Choose wisely. You have been answered. You're welcome.
