はじめまして、ジャネとです。 I am leaving a message here because it seems to be your most recent video. アメリカン人です。I recently found your channel. I am watching all of your videos. I plan to go back and rewatch, and leave the comments I think of (there are a lot!) But I want to see all of your videos first. Also, Steven is so handsome! Does he have a girlfriend? 😊
I have always been interested in history, and the origins of words in English and western culture, but I also love Japanese history and language! Steven's historical and language facts 大好きです! He is too cool!

My mom was a sniper with slippers. No matter where I was in the apartment, she managed to get a headshot with the slipper every time when I was a kid.
I'd poke my head out from my room a few times and nothing. Thinking she gave up, I poked my head out one last time to make a sarcastic remark and BAM....HEADSHOT!

This video is nice, because it helps non-asian people understand that not all of those Asian stereotypes apply to all types of Asians. I think one of the biggest racial stereotypes is The Stereotype of strict Asian parents hitting children. When for the majority, sitting is seen as someone who is unable to deal with their own emotions and just takes it out on the child. Japanese do not typically do this. Of course there are not-so-good Japanese in many places. In Japan, child abuse has been rising, and it's so much of a concern, that it's in the media.

    • @user-kp2lk7gk3t
      @user-kp2lk7gk3t 2 роки тому +2

@@forgottenking8141 what you have written here is offensive. You're basically implying that being white is significant when determining who is an abusive Society, because of the stereotype that white people are better than others? I'm 32 years old, and I'm Japanese. I was adopted by a German / polish / Swedish descent family. You were just simply talking with somebody who was an abuse victim and you took his narrative because he was white.
You're racist for saying white rather than the actual ethnicity because German and other societies in America are different. Also, because you said your white friend said this, and you're contradicting what I'm saying, implying that I'm inferior to white people. Are you Hispanic?
We Japanese do not think the same way as westerners and we especially think very differently from northern Central and South Americans. Because for thousands of years, we've actually practice massive amounts of emotional control in the form of Buddhism, and when people practice Buddhism in general, their mind becomes silent and they realize how things do not have to be harm in order to grow up. East and West are very different.
Many Societies in Asia, do not follow that stupid stereotype that westerners make about Asian parents being so strict. And guess what, there are not really many laws that protect Asian children from being abused so, the fact that many people don't hit their children, because they see it as a form of emotional weakness that they're taking out on their own children, means that the premise of what you said is completely not true. Thinking that laws to prevent people from hitting their children, is very childish.

Then bringing up one of my cousins who is waaaay more ‘successful’ than me. Not out of meanness or anything. She’s just a busybody. Still love her, though.

In my opinion, it's not racist say "in this country, they tend to use more this colours" or something like that, because it's cultural. For example, in Mexico they use more brilliant colours, even black it's shiny, in Spain use more vivid colours (except in the north) like green or red (they have folkloric clothe in those colours), while in Argentina we use more turn down colours (not vivid or shiny) and it's not strange to see a lot of people with something black or grey

There's this game that was made in Japan that I love called Monster Hunter and the one I started out on was Monster Hunter Tri that came out in North America on April 23rd 2010. I've been playing every installment of the franchise since and which means I've been playing it for 14 years and I ŕealize I'll never be as good at the game as most of the Japanese people I've been seeing play it online. It's almost like they can mathematically calculate the exact distance with just their visual perception in order to avoid every single hit box and simultaneously know every monsters distinct movement. They can be so effectively efficient at using dang near every single weapon and it's like they know how to get the most critical damage from some impressively planned out weapon and armor stats. I've seen them make the most powerful monsters in the game look like they were taking down a monster that has the most minimal amount of HP. They would make Asian difficulty look like a walk through the park on a beautiful summer day.

Asians are in general considered hard workers. As long as they don't commit suicide.
A not so funny fun fact:
Suicide is such a big problem in Japan that nearly every bridge and train station has some sort of suicide prevention fence and their is an entire forest where people commit suicide. Korea is similar in that regard. Sadly children are a big part of the suicide percentage.

Guys , i know you probably wont care XD
but you are way too stiff ^^ relax, be more natural, don't be afraid to speak..
Its so easy to see you're thinking a lot before saying anything, let it out naturally ^^

Honestly, milestone videos are very forgettable. No one should stress about that stuff if their channel is growing too fast. Milestones like 10k, 100k, 1m etc are reasonable, but things can go very fast between those as well and very slow between lesser milestones.
Sweden is quite the opposite from both America and Japan in terms of the need for a job. Here you can be unemployed and live of the gov perfectly fine. Have a roomy apartment, more than enough food and left over disposable income, as an adult
