the easiest way to light the jiko is using the dry leaves from the compound. You have to gather enough for lighting. put the leaves inside the jiko light them and keep adding until the charcoal lights up. or save the ash and use to light by putting some amount on a paper add a little paraffin put it inside the jiko and light. the fire does not go out until the charcoal lights up. when using ash and paraffin you will not need to man the jiko. the wind works for you.
What a small world. Mercy is my classmate and l knew she has a brother , getting to see now that yout hubby is her brother 🙄makes it even more exciting to watch. Been watching all your videos!
I think every one of us in Kenya go crazy cleaning when we hear a visitor is coming to visit. But for real your house looks tidy and well kept, u should not be working your self so much. Loving sharing your life with us. You have a lovely blessed family 🥰🙏🏾
Wow, this sorta resembles the life I lived as a kid. I really how simple life was. It great to see how have taken this life up much like a duck takes to water.
I have exactly the same problem, I feel I have to clean everything from top to bottom. Wow! you so hard working. I came to Meru several times to display our stand at the ASK show, I was amazed about how green and beautiful it was, thank you for showcasing Kenya .
The food looks yummy. Just curious, would it be nice to have a well built wooden dinning table where you can all seat to eat. Since you have ample space between your kitchen and living room. Anyways that is just my suggestion, so no worries. Bon appetite 😋
I am salivating: that dinner reminds me of days spent at our village home with my mum before l moved to Seattle WA. So heart warming. What about a cooking channel?
How long can this homeschooling thing work without a professional teacher ..does it really prepare kids for what's to come or it may make the, lag behind .. just wana know how it works?
Nchenga, amazing how you're enjoying our traditional foods😍. The pumpkins looking yummy too😊. If you use jiko more often onwards, look for 'Moto Sawa' a jiko lighting gel available in most supermarkets in Meru town. A add-on, Your sister in-law got a body I feel like snatching ✊
