NSMBW Custom Stage Showcase • 6-3 Colorless Illusion

I recently had the idea of making a level with grayish colors where the gimmick is to reveal stuff by restoring the colors of the stage.
So I asked myself about how I could achieve that and I had the idea of using the "layer mask" from when the player discovers a secret. So I made that the player can't use this mask, and made some sprites like the color gem and the color spotlight to make this possible.
