I don't understand why most of these old school people so rude and mean to their daughter inlaw..why they don't realize that they once a young women too, why they don't realize that if their mother inlaw treated them bad, I hated all them old school folks,
Truth I got one now, she tells the world I am lazy and not cooking for her. But I work and have school too. When I got home is like 11:00 pm midnight. She just home.

I had to drop out of school because she was always telling her son that I’m probably out cheating when I go to school in the morning and work in the afternoon. I’m the closer cashier and never gets home until 11. I tell her all the time what my schedule is. My marriage suffered because she wants me to just become a slave. She’s been like that with all her nyabs. They all left and then she curse them to go die in a ditch. Karmas a bitch cause now her son is divorced 3 times and jobless. Growing up I used to believe that old people NEVER lie. Now I’ve learned that some of them are the biggest liars. Combine that with entitled sils too. Ugh! Nightmare in-laws are a real thing.
These kind of hateful bitter mother in laws are the worse to deal with. Can’t ever please them no matter how hard you try, just ignore them and be happy in front of them. They’ll hate you even more.

A lot of daughter in laws follow this same path with their in laws. You will only survive if your husband sees this or divorce will be the only option out. The only thing that will get you through is knowing that when you become a mother in law you make this change towards your daughter in law. It’s unfortunate we have in laws like this because as much as we try to say that we will disconnect it still hurts deeply.
