  • This week we installed some iBoard Running Boards on our Sprinter van build. Sandy is just a little vertically challenged and has literally had to climb in and out of the van! HAHA! So we figured it was time to add a sprinter van side step! The iBoard running board installation was super easy and a great addition to the van!

my favorite ice cream is organic coconut from Brazil. The Hispanic countries make ice cream from the real fruit. U can never find real ice cream in a USA grocery store.
The hispanic stores that make ice cream and sell it in their store are better ice cream.
If u ever want to visit one of the places that Abraham Lincoln used to sleep at near Waukegan Illinois ( gorgeous antique house) , there is a Mexican bakery that sells real ice cream.

I noticed that u don't use any (oil base) rust proofing under your van.
U should use vaseline and transmission fluid. Spay it under your van. Put vasiline on every screw and nut before attaching it to van. Use latex gloves to protect your skin from the Vaseline. Vaseline can cause cancer on the skin.
Put vaseline in microwave and turn it to liquid. Put it in a spay bottle. Or put it in a plastic ketchup bottle that you can get from the Dollar Tree store.
Put the liquid vaseline all over your van doors. Must remove the car board cover on door 1st .
Then spay the transmission fluid inside the doors. Transmission fluid is messing; so just use it inside the doors. Inside only. All the doors.
Put newspaper on ground to catch any drips. Keep the doors open for an hour. You will want to disconnect your battery when the doors are open.
Spraying all wheel wells, & under bumpers. Under van especially those chains that hold up the attachments u put under your van.
I covered up with blue tape all the stickers on the inside of the van hood. Then I spayed the entire hood, and laches. Waited 30 days. Then sprayed hood with bed liner . Bed liners that r used for open pickup trucks. 25 yrs later my hood doesn't have rust.
I get better price at stores that sell paint for automobile body shops. better then Home depot or Lows or Menards.
Ask any body shop where do they buy paint.
This will keep your van from rusting if you do it once a year.
Power wash your van before u start. Wash under van to remove any dirt from road driving.
I didn't get rust for 19 years on my van. Then I stopped doing it 1/yr. And 3 years later I got rust.
Make sure to wear a plastic suit while spraying under van. Cover eyes with plastic eye protection that cost $1 at dollar tree store.
I used a shower cap to cover my hair.
I use latex gloves and dishwashing gloves on top of the latex glove.
U can make an extension tube with rubber hose and a piece of Hallow tube. The type of tubing that they use for brake lines. It helps get in areas that arms don't fit.
Or u can go to Menards and buy a very small pump spay container. One gallon at my Menards or Home depot cost less $7.
I also Stapled a peice of plastic to the backboard of the doors. That way it doesn't get messy. Thick plastic is sold at Walmart in the sewing department.
Walmart has it in 4 feet rolls. $3/ Yard. 4 mill thick.
U can also use this plastic on all doors with Velcro.
It is great insulation. I didn't feel cold air coming in the door . 20 degree Fahrenheit.
Remember this can cause cancer on skin!!! So please, protect skin from vaseline and transmission fluid!!!
My dollar tree store sell transmission fluid.
